Well out on my own like Billy no mates lol well anyway took my gills out for the first time and my first time on new ground well have to say the ground looks promising burys everywhere but big bramble patches so I need to invest in a long net but none the less did 4 easy warrens and managed 4 rabbits in a couple hours ferrets worked really well for there first time was well pleased a lot of burys there but need a bit more man power none the less had a good day

Well guys it's my first locater and it's the 8 ft box and 2 collers the problem I'm having is that it's only receiving signal upto about 5 6 feet and it's just making a rustle noise rather than a beeping like a pulse I guess which I no it's supposed to do now there all new batteries in collers and locater any advice thanks atb Danny

If you don't feed them your quite likely they will lay up in my opinion they will kill and feed

Well still earley in the season and already three quarters of the way through my permissions so was wandering if anyone ferrets race courses there a few in quite close to were I live going to try to get permission do you all think it will be any good .

Yer that's what iv been doing one of them is really good took him out today and worked brilliant and picked him up and was really good but the other one is ok handling for a few minutes but when he's working he's mad jumping up my leg trying to bite iv been told its excitement but he don't calm down good worker bolts the rabbits quick and he's fine to get out the box and hutch but hold him to long and pick him up off the floor he's a nightmare dunno what to do with this there. Has been big improvements since getting him but iv got ferrets to work them not to just feed quick hold and back in th

Well I have to say my ferrets don't really bite now big improvements but when I handle them for more than a few mins at a time they start trying to get me off scratching and wriggling is there a way of getting them comfortable or relax them or is it just Bordem. I hold them pretty firm as I don't trust them 100% they don't like being picked up off the floor but out the box and hutch there fine any advice or is it just a case of keep trying

Iv got a biter and always pick him up from behind the head never thought of picking him up from underneath his body thought it would be easy for him to bite me that way

It doesn't matter I just think some people you see its a pleasure to go with you learn so much and you wish your dog would work like that just that sort of thing really and field craft is important I think
