  1. i bought one brand new and it chewed itself to bits and then the spring snapped.did not shoot 300 pellets through it.not impressed with a airgun that is that expensive.and yes the balance is very front heavy,no good for lsr
  2. you could get a weatherby like me,£200 less than the annie and it is the same gun
  3. i got a brattonsound 5+,but it best to get the biggest one you can afford/have space for,so you can fill it.my ammo ammount was 1250 to keep and 1000 to buy but after 2 months i have nearly used up all the space on the back of my fac.i need to up the amount allready
  4. i did 100 .357 rounds last night.took me 3.5 hours but i do weigh every 4.2gr of powder on scales.luclkily my mate went to kranks and got me some primers, heads yesterday so i should have enough for this month.youtube was very helpfull as i found a vid with a guy loading 38 special, total of 38m that showed you everything you needed to know
  5. just stripped mine today to clean it and it is very easy to do.mind you i have yet to shoot it,so it may not be.just need to get some more ammo to try it now
  6. i had to much trouble on ebay,to many people are abusing the trust that the site needs to work.do not use it any more
  7. having owned two prosports i would say that they are the best under lever air rifle out of the box.very smooth and accurate.only hardship is cocking them when prone.as stated they can match pcp,s and in my opinion are the best looking air rifle too
  8. i have just bought a ruger 10/22 with a hawke scope and thumbhole carbon effect stock for £300.this little gun has had a few trick bits put in it.trigger has been done along with the upgraded other parts.it shoots very well,i shoot lsr at 20-25 yards standing.this gun will take out the black easy on a standard bisley double sided target and that is when i shoot very quickly.rested at 50m it will do 1" groups of a rest and does not jam with cci,s.only downside is i shoot 100 rounds in about 5-10 minutes and it does get expensive
  9. cheers,should add i own a .177 s400c with a tweaky reg and a ginb stock, .22 ruger 10/22 .22 weatherby(annie clone) .357 marlin 12 bore browning b525 28"
  10. having owned a .25 bsa supersport for some time i can tell you this caliber is as accurate as any other.i shot my best group ever standing at 30 yards with this little air rifle.on my outdoor range i could drop all the hft targets standing up to 45 yards and yes it does hit very hard.with constant use after 2-3 months i could hit poppies and bottle tops at over 50m standing with a good hit rate.people would not believe this possible until they witnessed this at my club.beware the man with one gun
  11. sorry should of said not subs, for use in my 10/22 ruger
  12. i went to one shop last week and he had no .22 cci,s,said he could not get any some time soon
  13. all my s400,s have liked aa,jsb or falcon.one of them would even shoot everything i tried in it very well
  14. a aa s410 would be a good choice.having owned 6 different s400,s of different types and a mpr and never having any problems with them,i can say they are great little rifles.i have won many comps with my current s400 carbine
  15. only just got my gear also,it was a bit scary putting in the primers the first time.now after 500 rounds this month alone i feel a bit more relaxed when making a batch of 50.shooting my reloads for the first time was also a bit scary.not had any problems so far,all have gone bang and group well.thought i would have no problems but went to buy some more 158gn heads at my local shop and was told they had none and did not know when they would get any more
  16. well in glos my sgc was 2 months and my fac was 3.5 weeks after a email to say i had found a gun and was looking to buy it
  17. my worst air rifle was a .177 bsa super ten, what a load of rubbish.it would spit out pellets everywhere.i tried every type of pellet and nothing would work.even sent it to mr bowket and had it blueprinted but that still made no difference,so i sold it on and lost a lot of money
  18. after looking at this site for a while and being a member of another well known forum for many years i have just joined.my shooting has progressed from airguns for about 6 years.got my sgc about 6 months ago and really enjoy shooting clays.in the past couple of months i have now got my fac and own 2 .22lr,s and one .357
