    First cross dogs normally produce what is generally called Hybrid Vigour, whereby the best attributes of both parents show up in the offspring. eg crossing a bull to a greyhound you would hope to get a pup that has the speed and attributes of a greyhound with tenacity and courage of the bull. Crossing a Collie to a greyhound you have the herding, brains etc of collie with speed of greyhound and so forth. It can work that you'd have the speed of the bull with the brains of a greyhound , or as someone put it years back... and i always remember this, about two greyhounds one was Scurlogue Ch

    After reading Stab's recent shooting thread and seeing the sorry sight of a fox with mange (Pic below, hope you dont mind me nicking it Stabs) prompted me to ask the readers on here What's it like in your area? Where I excercise my dogs we have an overly healthy population of foxes. Every now and again we catch site of or end the life of one or two foxes that have got mange, it's the norm.     I think, ( might be wrong) you have to knock of the numers on the end ie. blahblah.jpeg1234 should be blahblah.jpeg, try that and it should/might work or failing that, right click the page ur pic is on, click on properties and just pic up the img url... (copy& paste) someone else will probably show you an easier way to do it, but that's what I've done when first starting posting pics. Or sign up as a paid member and u can upload directly from ur computer, I'm sure Ian would rather that :11:

    Shirls there's a chap down is Swansea who recently advertised for sale some 3/4 bred Bedlingtons in the CMW, I went down for a nose and spoke to him this weekend he has two dog pups left, nice strong types, PM me for his number or have a look in CMW.     Good post that Most lads wouldn't admit to it but it does happen, I had a bitch that jibbed at 14 months, under a concrete slab the lil vixen kept given her punishment and in the end she gave up.. I was gutted.. Next time out, she killed and drew two in the morning and after that never had a reverse gear. (never) So don't write her off just yet! Gl with her..
