  1. Due to a change in my circumstances I have for sale the following. One Beagle bitch, 3 1/2 yr old one Beagle/Bassett bitch 18 months.. Will hunt and work all quarry, mark foxes to ground etc etc.. can be seen working! Must go together, no time wasters or muppets need reply. £500 to stop the tyre kickers coming around.
  2. If they are scarce, perhaps you best leave them alone, you only need to be killing foxes this time of year by request not because you're having wet dreams about them.. have a wank and grow up!!
  3. All my dogs get butcher's waste, as it comes, lamb, pork, beef, chicken, ox livers, tails, pigs heads, carcasses n bones, rabbit heads n skins, anything, the whole shooting match.. I feed them like hounds, tip up the bag let them eat.... no measuring, nothing scientific, just let them get on with it !
  4. If that was aimed at me, I asked what's it breeding, ie what bedlington, what 1/2 cross lakeland bedlington..
  5. £75.00 to join the BTMR, tell em you can catch moles and you're in! So I phoned a few on the list local(ish) to me, just look on the site to find the numbers, I gave them some work.. had a chat with a few of them, they didn't get much work from it, more word and mouth, so I didn't join. 500 members @ 75.00, good man, doesn't need to work, wish I thought of it first. Got a guy on my Facebook, giving me the big one because I'm not "Qualified" and HE is... through the Guild, told me I had to join or I couldn't get insurance, so I went on their website, found out who the insurer was and pho
  6. Nice type, hope she does well for you!! I was supposed to judge the show in Bristol back last weekend, I had to have a bit of cosmetic surgery done and was/am incapacitated for a while so couldn't do the journey up let alone lift up any potential show ponies.. Apparently it was a good turn out, any take any pictures so I can have a look at what I missed ?? SJ
  7. fantastic idea, where do i get starving rats ? ................................... ffs Just put a live cage rat trap down baited with some peanut butter near one of the buildings around one of the farms you control the vermin on, I am sure there will rats around somewhere. Or maybe someone off here local to you already has some traps down and could sort you out with some. If you get some rats you will have to put a secret camera up to let us all watch them get bitten. Pork doesn't want to be educated !
  8. My switch is knackered on my lamp, anyone know where I can get a replacement, anyone have a busted lightforce lamp that you can take the switch of?? SJ
  9. Done a bonus job on way to farm today, lifted the moles with the customer stood next to me.. He said that's a whopper, I wasn't really taking much notice as I had to get on.. usual banter, etc etc, lifted my cheque and of I went.. Anyway later on when I was sorting out moles from my bag, I had the mole in my hand and thought, fck me it is a fair old size, so kept it separate... measured it and it's 9" long.. What's the biggest mole you've caught ??
  10. Do it, I get lots of work, even from a Tescos car park!!
  11. I've seen plenty of spineless ones.... :-) never seen one with a curly tail !!
  12. Utter Bollocks !! Why's it utter bollocks? You get pats that won't mix it and Russels that go for the kill I cant see how people can determine a dogs working style through its colour? and your point is what ?? ALL TERRIERS ARE THE SAME ??? I'll say it again " Utter bollocks" you obviously have no experience of different dogs, there's a reason why people keep Russells, Pats, Borders, Lakelands,Bedlingtons etc etc they all have different working styles, some might be the exception to the rule, some might work different to their counterparts, but in general these breeds are different and
  13. Yellow sheep marker !!! safe with animals.. randomly mark your traps and hills with X's, circles or straight lines or whatever, you will know which marks represent the traps, and it confuses the nosey ones.
  14. wow, never thought of that, can you tell me how to train the worm to stay in the trap ??
  15. Aaah!!! I stand corrected ! Good man, glad someone's doing the business !
  16. Well done fella, nice to hear !! by the way there's 3' in a metre, so 1.5 would make it 4 1/2 FEET.. do you need to check your box ??
  17. OOOOOH!!! I just noticed, it was on 1999 replies, so here's the 2000th one !!
  18. To many people with so called Working Beddys, the only work they are capable of is a bit of rabbiting and ratting, pups are then advertised out of working parents, that would,nt stand the test of a real trial, ill just talk from my derriere and listen to the usual drivel from the same sources with the same bred shite and the usual cronies and hangers on.Thankfully there are a few out there with the genuine stuff,do your homework or take up ratting and rabbiting. So what category are yours in then ?? Let's have a look at them !! and I agree with you Who are the few though ?? be good to know
