What a refreshing post if somewhat depressing good to hear some honesty instead of the normal dug fifteen foot to ten foxes with my super dog. Anyway thought Id share my best mate with You this is Jinx Plus Points tremendous nose courage of a lion tremendous around other dogs and kids will work anything Negative points When she is on a scent You could hit her over the head with a brick and she would still go on no recall nail a chicken or cat for fun if You let her I do a lot of farms with my pest control work she comes with me You got to watch her like a hawk I dont know how many rats

they were more than spooky, downright afraid of their own shadows... lion on leads scenario!! I don't have a planned mating for Milly, but I've told the chap that's got her with him, to breed with whatever he thinks is a viable propostion, he's bound to have more luck than I have.. I took myself of WBF for exactly the reason you have stated above, too many mooching dogs, gutless overnight wonders being praised and bred from.. not my cup of tea !! I have a bitch here out of Milly, not a bedlington sire, none of the traits of the bedlington, got all Milly's traits in as much as sh

Right then!! Working Bedlingtons !! I started this topic in 2005 in the hope to find some top class working bedlingtons that will go to ground and do some 'proper work'.. It's been emotional.. Over the last few years I have met, chatted to via email, pm's, phone calls etc some genuine lads that have the bedlington (as a worker)at the forefront of their breeding plans, real working bedlingtons that can do a day's graft... to these I take my hat off, you know who you are... Me personally have failed in my attempt to breed and keep anything that I would class a good digging d

picked up another 200 acres the weekend with lots of the lil feckers on, mainly silage fields that have been trashed by the moleys, his lawns that he is getting ready for a wedding in 3 weeks, and a good few sloping fields that have sets of molehills ALL THE WAY AROUND "do you want paying up front and can we make it a regular thing... ?? " Whoop Whoop! -

Business is business, there is no closed season on moles... I will trap them whenever someone pays me to do so. Here's the traps, laid 3, 3 pinged... !! and it's in the furthest place away from farm... feckers set them all again, added another two, little bit tighter now... Enjoying the sun on their ready made deckchairs !! Oh!!! and this, there's appx 30 plus of these, he said she doesn't want anyone shooting them, she said, this afternoon, why oh why does everything congregate on my land, they've trashed my fences.... sweet talking Jack was in the -

Time of year, methinks the job I'm doing at the moment shoulda been done in December..... 2005 they've not been touched for 14 years and believe me, their everywhere, she's pulling her hair out, so I explained the bit about them going deeper and they wouldn't be easy to clear, there's molehills popping up everywhere, so I laid 65 traps between yestday and today, some were easy, most were in hard clay and hard to find the tunnels... few of where I laid today were (or seemed) easy enough, just have to see in morning... -

had five moles so far, got all my traps down today, finding it a bit hard due to the weather and the ground drying up, the moleys just dont seem to be travelling about, are they inactive due to the heat ?? had one place on the farm that's very wet and peaty, the fecker managed to spring all three traps I laid there, my guess is because it's so soft they pushing all the earth before them.. there were two mole hills on top of the traps... so I've tried it a different way, I've cut into the runs, with a large blade as not to diturb the ground, and squeeezed them in tight, hopefully this might -

Game on!!! Top bloke, top traps!!! 100+ acres hasn't been touched in 14 years, every field is like this or worse... -
save me going back through all the posts, which are the ones to buy that'll last and do the job.. or which to avoid... ?? need a few, bout 50 or so !!
