  1. Fox-hunting is not banned in Northern Ireland. Thus the Ban covers the whole of Great Britain (GB England, Scotland & Wales) but not the whole of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (The UK). It's not illegal to use terriers for the protection of gamebirds in the U.K.. what are your mates getting pulled for ???
  2. Sunday afternoon, Heartbeat on the box, I'm bored, knock on the door young lad they had just run a fox to ground and didn't have the tools to get it, then asked me the question..... 'will you bring your dogs' someone up there was smiling down at me... Whoop whoop, fck Heartbeat, picked Tag up made my way to the earth... hell of a place to dig got too many concrete slabs, got a mark on the dog but couldn't come in from the top had to trench in, fox was wedged up tight and giving the dog stick from above, I could just make him out up the tube, mixing it and this fox was taking the fig
  3. i cant see how a terrier in "small earths" could possibly flip a fox over onto its back!!!! if it has room to flip a fox onto its back then draw it from the earth then that earth must have plenty of room in it and therefore cannot be called a small earth.IMO. you obviously haven't had one of these then... it can be done seen it plenty of times... jmho...

  6. Sorry but couldn't resist... I do know a Jill with hard tits, they cost her 3 1/2 grand... that's the truth.. hope someone gives you a proper answer, gl
  7. Controversial as it is, I can see where your coming from... as an example I have watched the Police dogs in action, Malinois for all intents and purposes look like they want to kill whatever they have a grip on, eyes bulging and proper psyched out, one word from the handler and they let go... now that's control, I know it's a different ball game with terriers............... you question yourself, your terrier is it 100%........ is it 100% determined to do what it went to ground for,,, I have dug terriers that when you break through they are 3" away from there quarry nose covered in snot,

  14. She's standing for him, but i think he might be gay
  15. I've had bedlingtons, bedlington type for nearly 20 years now mate, had some failures, had some good, and some exceptional ones.. The ones that have bayed 6ft of their quarry have no place in my yard, I prefer them to be up close and personal.. Milly has killed more to ground than have bolted Tag is heading the same way, they don't give an inch... as said in an earlier post his size will be the undoing of him if he continues to work like this.. I haven't bred many litters in all of this time, but Milly having retired from working Fox to ground, because of her working style is now my
  16. up and at em, mixing it, killing and trying to draw their quarry, if they cant get a hold on it you will hear them baying.. What are you saying 14" is to small, to work fox ??? small for a Bedlington yes, to work, hmmm that's a matter of opinion.. "No mate, what I'm saying is the "13 dogs I've seen have had no substance, no weight about them. They look like Bedlington x whippets with snipey heads. The stronger dogs that are well made are 4 - 5 inches taller. Just my opinion Jack You know you're right, he is lacking in substance I wish he was bigger and had a bigger head and

  18. You're not being a fly in the ointment mate, I'm just trying to drum up some discussion.. it was not meant to be a test I am genuinly interested to see the range in size of the dogs out there . For us ALL to see... I agree, I know Tag is small, when put in fron of that board he look's really small, shocked myself to be honest, and YES I would prefer him to be at least an inch or two bigger... I've said his size will be the undoing of him, he just doesn't realise that he hasn't got the jaw power of a bigger dog.. I handled 'Blue' Georges' old dog when I was up at his yard yea
  19. I wonder how many will take up the offer of having their pics taken, hope they all do would be good to see... Well done with Coco, it wasn't me that paid the judge I don't know him, honest Anyway back to size, for a dog I would say that tag is on the small side, not that I'm complaining, get the working side of it right, I'm sure we can up the height a bit, if a good sound working bitch was to be used... If he does cover Milly I will certainly be keeping some larger of the bitches back...
  20. They enjoy it... let's have a before and after shot then .... I can't do the Lakie temperament too gassy for my liking, glad your pup is doing well.. Printer's been a bit quiet of late, methinks he's decided to keep them both, maybe he'll get some pics up of the pups..
  21. The height chart I was on about earlier, knocked one up this afternoon... never work with animals they say... couldn't get Tag to stand up without holding him, the fecking thing fell over and spooked him .... Milly just shrugged her shoulders and was a bit disinterested to say the least... bit small aren't they
