  1. Looking good Lawrence !!! here's the litter brother and sister doing a bit of ratting, the bitch's coat seems a bit poor at the moment, I'm going to give her a good stripping back to the bone, the dog pup has turned out more lakeland type, has a good coat, wired to the moon soon be dropping him in at the sharp end !!! Can't wait !!
  2. What work do you want them for ??? What lines they out of, have you seen the parents work ?? price??
  3. the question I asked was does anyone 'KNOW' what these tracks are, not can I have some guesses as to what they might be ?? might be my fault as I haven't given an indication of scale, or that they are quite deep in the mud suggesting the animal has a bit of weight about it ..

  5. I walked into local butchers when I moved down here, I asked him what he does with his waste (all of it) he was paying for it to be disposed of and saving some bones for the locals as and when. Being a cheeky welsh fecker I said I'll take it all of you, when would you like me to pick it up He looked at me in an odd disbelieving way and said Wednesday afternoons and Saturdays.. then I scrounged a secondhand fridge freezer... been here nearly 4 months and haven't spent a penny on dog food, that's feeding 9 dogs, all are healthy, one or two need to go on a diet before work starts proper !!
  6. not eating, whining at back door = vets !!! dogs cant tell you what's wrong with them, but not eating is a a bad sign !!
  7. Its a grass snake Unfortunatly I found a dead one whilst walking the lurcher today Grass snake my arse !!! that's an Adder and very dangerous to confuse the two This is a grass snake !! fortunately for you it was dead !!
  8. Why not ?? what harm do they actually do ???
  9. Apart from the noise factor, and shitting all over conservatory roof bats don't do you any real nuisance and they eat all them flying insects, can't see the point in killing them... they move aroud the house, well they do here, had them for a week in the kitchen wall cavities... all day chirping away !! now the're back upstairs on the landing !! it's only your fear of them that would make you want to kill them... scared of the dark springs to mind... Leave the little beauties alone... p.s. found a dead one in one of the bedrooms !!! got a pic somewhere, couldn't believe how sma
  10. YES Get rid of the cider and cheap lager off the top shelf.... can fit in 2 more cases of stella then! Personallay prefer guiness tho! *edited to say.... dont keep eggs in the fridge... so thats another case of stella* The Gaymers was for the missus, got to spoil her sometimes !!

  12. Sorry, but you couldn't have pulled 30 wasp 'stings' out of your dog unless the wasps were still attached! Wasps do not leave their sting in the victim and can sting more than once (unlike bees). Most wasps will not attack you unless you are actually threatening their nest. The usual cause is people trying to be clever and knock a nest down with a stick or set fire to it. The exception to that is the German Wasp (Vespula Germanica) which are very aggressive, and have a very venemous sting. they were, attached that is !! wasps do nest on the ground and the dog stumbles on th
  13. pulled about 30 wasp stings out of one of my dogs a few years back, was in shock for the whole time it took me to carry him home, bout ten yards from my house he came to and walked the rest...
  14. Looking good lawrence, you should get him all fluffed up, shaved and blow dried mate, perhaps he might win a bedlington show.. or better still we'll get them entered this season, see what they're made of ?? My dog pup is still as ugly as feck with a dark coat, lighter in all the right places... Bitch pup is coming on well, except fot the wobbly leg, don't think that will stop her working to ground though !! :D looking good mate !!
  15. Working Bedlingtons - Showing !!! A few times this year I have been asked by Judges who are asked to judge terrier shows and have had the onerous task of judging Bedlington classes at the shows, what to look for when picking potential winners !! So here's a question for all of you that have judged a terrier show, or maybe those who would like to give their tuppence worth !! What would you like to see in the ring as a typical 'Working Bedlington' ?? or those that have experience of Bedlingtons how would you prioritise size/coat/conformation/weight for the good of the breed ?
  16. some more :clapper: excellent :clapper:
  17. I said I couldnt tell, is that his bed?.........maybe he lays on the floor.........who knows from that picture is what I am saying? it is his bed, he has quite clearly stated that !!! I only asked why he didn't take it the full length across the back and was told to go fly a kite !!! I'm not saying anymore on the subject as Skycat has spotted my weakness, apparently "I'm not OK so nobody else can be OK." If your'e in a bad place mentally or emotionally then you'll try and make everyone else suffer as well. so I'm off to see my shrink, to up my dose !!!
