Got 1 in .22SFS stage 1 the rifle was a bit twangy from new but after the tune it was brill and the trigger was fantastic , I thought the 98 was good before the tune but it makes a big diference ,I would buy the rifle then save for the tune but deffo get it done

Depends on the cal of your rifle . AA field are a good place to start in .177 or .22 , also RWS Superdome's or H&N ftt's go well in weihrauch barrels

I have a Hw77 tuned at SFS it is very accurate ,I have also got a HW98 also tuned at SFS they can mach pcp's for accuracy but as said before are harder to master . I would choose the break barrel 98 over the 77 as it is quicker to load than the under leaver and is just as accurate if weight is an issue they do a HW95 lighter than the 98 and comes with a silencer fitted ideal for hunting

Hi chaps had my HW77 SFS out for the first time today at a local indoor range only 21m but after a few zero and leading shots I was well chuffed . With AA field it was printing .23 ,5 shot groups CTC best was .19 CTC should get even better when I get more pellets through it . Then got my HW98 SFS S1 in .22 out and best group was .18 CTC with ftt's . I liked this rifle before the tune by Tony now I love it

I use a large decoying bag holds the magnet bateries decoys and usaly carry it , but if have to go far across fields use a wheel barrow the large plastic type with pnumatic tyre goes over most stuff if going over fences just put the bag over first then sling the barrow over and reload barrow . And guess what it doubles up as a wheel barrow at home too

I have got a MK4 Panther the same electronics as the Wolf not had a problem with mine but then again only use it on the range so never gets wet . Have also got a 1OOKT in .177 it shoots nearly as well as the Panther and you can tote it around all day great rifle . Dont forget you can get an Air ranger tactical same as the Wolf without the elecs and a good bit cheaper , I shot one a few months ago and shot groups as tight as my Panther have a good look around before making a decision , the Midland Game Fair is on in a couple of weeks why dont you pop down and handle them all if you end up getti

Hi Kurt I put the same post as you on the BBS about 6 months ago only got 1 reply off a guy with 1 in FAC he liked his alot . I have heard that the smooth twist barrels shoot lots of pellets ok but nothing great . Pitty the rifle looks great on paper , I shot a Regal a few weeks ago was a realy nice bit of kit shot real well and looked great

RWS do a heavier pellet than the domes the superfield at 8.44 grains , bisley magnums at 1O.3g always seem to shoot well in my PCP rifles also a very good heavy pellet JSB heavys at 1O.5g
-
To be honest Phantom i could not see well enough to stack pellets on top of one another with the 45 with open sights at 2O yards . You must be a very good shot bud . I dont have much trouble with my rifles , springers or pcp just cant seem to get on with the pistol
-
I bought a secndhand HW45 a while ago in .177 , I'm not realy in to pistols but thought i would give a 45 go , good power well made etc but made a mistake .I am used to rifles and hitting what I shoot at , most of the time , if I was looking for a garden plinker I would go for a small rifle at about 7ftlbs like a HW3Os and give myself a chance of hitting something

My first PCP was the rapid I still have Charlie , got a few other rifles and had quite a few that I have let go over the years , never realy had a bad one . The rifle that I prob liked the least was a Webley MK3 .22 had it for about 3O years but sold it a couple of months ago , still I made a good few quid on it what do them mk3's go for ?? If its ok about 15O or so is sensible , seen some for silly money depends on condition Charlie
-
Have to say my best springer is a S1 SFS98 in.22 Si , was down there to pick up my new 77le laminate S2 in .177 on Monday not had much chance to play yet but i'm sure it will shoot well

Rowan Engineering Single Shot Adaptor
magnummike replied to daytyper's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I bought a Rowan for my mk4 Panther and have to say its very good much better than the single shot tray Daystate give you . the only prob ive found if you load the rowan then close it and acidentaly fire it with the bolt open as I did , I know it was my falt , the pellet goes backward in to the bolt probe hole and jam's the bolt and is a bugger to get out . I bought a single shot loader yesterday for my HW1OO not used it yet butsure it will be good -
If I was you Pav I would give Tony a ring If its still there I would buy it and cancel the one from Hull . I know of a guy who ordered a 98 in .2O they said it would be 7 weeks that was in Feb he is still waiting
