  1. The spring in my 97k was that bad to Skot , I ended up fitting a service kit from Tony at sfs it consisted of new spring delrin spring guide and top hat and lubes think it was about £4O but not sure it shoots much better now
  2. Not many squirrels around this year ive found , think ive shot about 2 this year last year must have shot about 4O . How are you chaps finding squizz numbers
  3. Funny enough Skot I've got all those and quite a few more it wont stop at just four you know
  4. I have not had not had probs with squirrels running on after head shots , but they tend to roll over and dont move then after a couple of seconds start jumping around like a gymnast with a rocket stuck up its arse for quite a few seconds . I have started taking chest shots with H&N hunter pellets in .22 at 25ftlbs and they knock e'm over great . Have dug a few pellets out and they expand well to nearly doubble there orig diam . Think at sub 12 I would stick to head shots as they are as we have found out tough little buggers ,
  5. Has he had a shave and his tits got bigger
  6. I have got a viper SCB ret and a Tac 3O half mildot so nearly the same I would have the Hawke as I like the half mildot
  7. Yes Andy it will work you just have to change the mag then look at the ret view , as long as your mildots are true at 1Ox or 2Ox as hawke scopes are , as your MTC scb is true on 1Ox hope this helps Mike Oh just thought on the Scb ret the first half mil is the bottom of the cross then there is a small gap to the next post which is .75 of a mil the next cross bar is the full mil
  8. Im using jsb exacts 5.53 atm guna try another pellet think its the rws field sport sumthing like that Hi Dwibzy I recon the JSB exacts will prob give you best power as they tend to do in all of my rifles . How old is the rifle you may be able to send it back to daystate for a power change under warrenty as that is very low
  9. Hi Skot It will work on what ever mag you use just change to the chosen mag and then look at the ret view in the tool box and the ranges on your half mildots will change accordingly
  10. Yes Andy just use Chairgun I have done it for my viper SCB ret just use the half mildot ret 1O x on chairgun . mtc and the hawke rets are true at 1Ox power so will match up mine is spot on out to 7Om
  11. Hi Dan the difference between a stage 1 and a 2 is the spring guide is screwed in to the trigger mech biock on the s2 so cannot move . This cannot be done on the 98 so the 98 ,95's are all stage 1's the 77's 97's etc with the solid screw out block can be s2 tuned . Ive got a s2 77 and an s1 98 both great rifles nowt between the 2 Thanks for the clarification. I know this is slightly off the original topic of the OP, but saves me raising a new post just for this. I'm not sure whether to go for a stage 1 or stage 2 tune (and having just watched zini's new video there is now mention of

  13. Good price then the scope is worth a few quid found mine shot well with JSB exact jumbo .22 they can be a bit fiddley to load in .177 with the fixed mag I found that the longer pellets made it easier like the AA field and the JSB but then it depends on weather you have sausage fingers like me ATB Mike
  14. sold a PH6 walnut sporter a few months ago no scope in good nick for £25O but depends on condition and scope etc

  25. I had , a few years ago a Marlin lever action in .44 mag nice handy rifle with plenty of knock down power and high shot count for taking the Zombies out then if they got too close would get the beretta 391 semi auto out , then if it got to hand to hand I'd give the blighters some bad boy chineese burns that should sort e'm out
