  1. Seen on YouTube the other night the guy off Take the high road shooting wild pigs with a Gamo break barrel in .22 think it was doing around 30ftlbs
  2. Not bad for a Springer at that range in wind
  3. I bought a Skan pro1 around 1993 and its been great never missed a beat , don't like the idea of them stick on the end of the barrel things people I know who have used them keep shooting the buggers . Then again that's all I've seen some people hit
  4. Don't see the point of sticking a big heavy scope on a super light a Hawke Panorama 3-9x40ao with illuminated half midot ret is a great scope , as for mod I would go Swift Stubby there only small but I recon there as good as a Weihrauch mod Atb Mike
  5. Reading an old Hw90 stripdown guide on another forum says the start point he uses is 200psi then tests . 12bar = 175psi so I wasn't far off think he starts a little high to work down , makes sense saves pumping more than once hope this helps , Mike
  6. You will need an adaptor to serew in to the threaded hole were the valve fits you can buy them , I got one but not sure where from now they fit in to a standard airgun pump . I wouldn't fill with a bottle as the pnmp is much more controllable think I pumped mine to about 12 bar , but start lower and test as you go but not 100% sure I'll try to find out for you as too much pressure can blow the seals on the valve as I found ,
  7. And with the glass etched ret no chance of breaking on a springer
  8. I own 5 of the older Panoramas and not had a problem with any of them my favourite is the 4-12x40ao with the half midot ret
  9. Also chaps it needs a coating of fresh lead down the barrel to get it shooting right if left for a while
  10. Oh yes I've got 5 and always room for more a full length early Mk2 would be nice as mine are all K's
  11. Hw77 in .177 25mm piston stage2 tune SFS Hw77 in .22 25mm piston stage2 tune SFS And the last one a Hw 77Le in .177 that's the one with the green , gray and brown laminate stock and you guessed it stage 2 tune SFS Atb Mike
  12. I've got one and they are a good rifle nothing I've shot is more accurate including a Steyr hunter I had and my HW100 and are a fraction of the price
  13. Think that a more classic looking scope suits the and glass etched ret would be better on a springer like the . I would go for a nice hawke Panorama a 3-9 or 4-12x40AO to keep the scope low to the rifle , nice clear glass for the money and the half mil dot ret is great and is illuminated red or blue and not too heavy Atb Mike
  14. Rifle arrived today Cheer's Chris very well packaged and is a real minter well pleased and a good man to deal with Atb Mike
  15. Go on then Kriss I'll have it Pm to follow
