Had chance to spend half an hour having a better look at it today, It was registered as new in March 1975, its registered as 347cc, The frame number supports this, However the engine number is far later than the frame, after a quick look with the Endoscope on the bottom end and checking the engine serial number, it would appear that at some point the bottom half of the engine has been replaced by later 250cc casings, the running gear is still the 350cc and the sixth gear has been unplated and the larger rear sprocket added. Its got worse in recent years. they they pressed forward with reducing the categories for which you could claim legal aid, Thus reducing the amount of people who can afford to take cases to court, this gives the appearance that the court backlogs are coming down. The same with policing. if the police do not investigate crimes them the figures will show a reduction in crime. Another couple i will be doing. The DT250E from 1977 is here already, The DT50M is on its way over from the States. Wrong seat. wrong side panel (should be an heatshield) wrong exhaust and god knows what else. all nearly impossible to find. i must be a glutton for punishment Lol.

Due to a few issues my days of walking dogs, fishing and shooting are over, so back on the bikes but only small light one nowadays. been doing a 1978 Yamaha DT125E, A 1975 Kawasaki KH100 and just started on a little Beta Senior.

When the last of my dogs went in the ground, I thought my life would be over, Boy how wrong was i, The sense of freedom was overwhelming.
