  1. True that Jay. There are a lot of predictions in the bible though which are now happening in the real world. Explain that? I can't. I've always been very anti religion until about 8 months ago when I spent a night working with a very religious fella. He had been through it all, jail homeless, drug addiction, hit rock bottom and reckons he found god in his hour of need. He told me a few things which are written in the bible and it made me go and read the New Testament. Not saying I'm a born again Christian, I'm sat on the fence with a lot of it. But you can't deny some of th
  2. when i was at school i was also taught about religion, no different to what you say above. apart from men telling me a god exists and using a book that was written by several men to prove God exists there is no evidence to substantiate your God theory. nobody really wants to die but the reality is everybody has to, if believing in something makes that easier to accept then i see no harm in that. but to try to browbeat others into believing in this is nothing more than mans insecurity. safety in numbers is a primal instinct however its achieved, have you never played lemmings
  3. if/when i get the feeling back in my left hand i probably will but until then this f4 is about my limit for weight
  4. man was made in Gods image, Jesus was the son of God. he too had a belly button. so God just created Adam and Eve but had to use a human woman to create his son. computer says.......................no

  6. i keep telling you, God if he existed was a man, all the evidence i have put up points to this fact, its not my fault if it contradicts what other men want to believe
  7. get a metal culender and view by shaking it in front of your face, takes a few seconds for your eyes to focus but works well, very good images here in the midlands.

  13. once things were protected for a valid reason, now we just seem to want to protect what we find appealing rather than what needs it, billions over the years collected to save the panda, them billions have not helped save the pandas environment, so the panda exists mainly now for our entertainment, why!!!! the countryside is about as natural as our cities, its man made and man managed, money will always triumph over sentiment its the way the world works, the simple fact is if sparrowhawks are causing a problem then that problem has to be addressed by those it effects without hindrance by those
  14. i am guilty of this, always say i will keep one on the slip but never do, lost count of the amount of game that i have watched run off across an open field whilst 2 or 3 dogs are still chasing a scent down the hedgerow
  15. i see sparrowhawks at least once a day sometimes umpteen times, they are not scare not a lot of em around me either.. i'm sure in some places they are more common though. its like deer around here, there's loads of them but ask any normal local and there surprised as they have never seen them, a good sunny day and you will be surprised if you look up how many spars are riding the thermals just like the buzzards, now kestrels are another matter they are seriously in decline

  17. a good whippet is a sight to watch, nothing faster from a standing start and can turn on a tanner, kept on a slip and released when the terriers bolt something it can run, then it has the same chance of injuries as any other cross.
  18. I got a newsflash for you mate....they are all bollocks.... you'll only ever read what the powers that be allow you to read, until its too late to matter True true true - now you don't sound like a mail reader but it seems in the whingeing section - sorry general discussion area - every other post has a link to the Mail and is quickly followed by reams of ritcheous indignation . Just saying. simple answer. don't read it then
