    as moonlighter says could be from laying on bare boards or concrete, i have a dog here who likes to lay out in the run on the slabs, ive put pallets with carpet down for him but he just pisses up them and still lays on the slabs, he gets them on and off, i just ensure theres plenty of waxed paper on the bedboard. i think its fluid as if you massage twice daily it does help it go down quicker but as sadymere says this is all guess work without a photo to look at.

    its deffo a strange one, as sporting shooter says odd that it was a muzzle loader, when you see the arabs firing 10000`s of rounds through there ak47`s into the air at every opportunity why is there not people falling down dead everywhere?

    so every 6 months you lay your dog up for 3 to 4 months How many bitches are 3-4 month bitches in all honesty ? Most are 12 or 9 months a small percent 6 month. If they are 6 months or less its a tough call, although i dont think its ideal i would probably try and get some Laurabolin from Eire and Suppress a bitch if her season is 6 months or less. ok mate :laugh: carry on Paulas think there on about Working there dog not just a walk around the block ...........

    Not good practice, the first thing anyone should ask before they pull th trigger on a rimfire or centre fire is where will the bullet go should I hit or indeed miss the animal, we should never shoot without an adequate back stop. It's questionable I suppose if you are taking a shot with the trunk directly behind it wether that could be deemed a back stop but mistakes could too easily be made. I wouldn't risk it with anything other than an air rifle. air rifle could takes someones eye out

    there was a programe called mythbusters who tested this theory. they calculated that a 308 round shot into the air would fall back to earth with a terminal velociity of 108 mph they made a machine to fire a 308 bullet head at a pigs head at this speed it never even broke the skin
