    having guns does open door and it can keep them open, there are things that carnt realistically be controled by dogs alone and by not having the right tools for the job your leaving the door open for someone else who can do the same as you do but without a running dog or terrier. sentiments fine i love nothing more than watching a good dog work but to be able to offer a good enough service to a land owner just owning a good dog is not enough and sooner or later someone with all the tools for the job will be taking over your role
