    theres a lake behind the milk factory at burmuda park there use to be some good pike in there council owned aswell

    another handy hint put a dog lead clip ( the swivel type) on the ring and use a loop of cord to attach it to something, will help with keep turning the net over after each row

    i think its more to do with the populus now living in big towns and citys as a whole and thus having no idea of the countryside other than what the main stream media portrays. strangley enough mainly airing on the side of the anti hunt brigade. youve only got to look to the old style villages and the attitude towards hunting is different/accepted as the norm. however even this is now starting to change as the youngsters who grew up in the villages can no longer afford to live or get work there, so there is an influx of wealthy townies comming into the villages with no idea of the countryside o

    theres probably 1000`s in peoples atics, sheds across the country my mates an rfd and gets stuff handed in all the time, most of it is crap but some good stuff aswell, last month a pair of dueling pistols worth £1000 each bloke just walked into the shop put a plasic carrier bag on the counter and said get rid of these and walked out :laugh:

    So you use 3 needles to knit one net? Are the loomis bulky ? Y.I.S Leeview all fit through a 1 inch ring so why the need to finish with a traditional needle? I do 4'6" nets shaped 18 meshes wide with one 8" needle would a loomis hold that much twine? Y.I.S Leeview the add says it will hold double a tradition needle probably more like 50% more tbh good knows why if you can start on a ring with a full needle then why you carnt finish on an empty one but as ive said i always finish by hand You've lost me mate.     i only use remingtons now subs are £6 odd quid for 100 hv are under £3.50 for 50 there harder than say winchester and 2grn lighter but hey aslong as you hit were your aiming it dont mean crap all

    i just do the bottom ring by hand

    i tried a block of cci mini mags a good few years ago a good % just went fizz. try remington yellow jackets cheaper aswell but still go bang
