  2. Just cos you .22 lovers have got fat fingers and can't load a .177 haha
  3. 0.177 for the easier trajectory. As den said, my hw100 works fine! Taken rabbits out to 50 yds no probs. 0.22 takes more skill IMO as they loop like a rainbow!!
  4. Ha ha I'm not posh. I don't get out of the shower to take a piss!!
  5. Right, only use the bag to move the gun around outside of the house! Soon as it is in the house, its out of the bag!
  6. Had a few hours out last night with Mac and Tomma. Met up around 8 and after sorting the scopes, Mac went off on his personal crusade against a couple of rabbits that keep teasing him, Tomma and I hit the main fields. We spotted a rabbit pretty early on and tried to keep the lamp off it. I went from to around 30 yrds, just about to go down for a shot and thought I’d check the rabbit position, I put the lamp up and the rabbit was gone….no sign at all. Carried on round the 1st field and I spotted a pair of rabbits by a pylon. I stalked from 50-30 yards, went prone and took a shot at t
  7. VERY!!! The bags can trap moisture, I did it with my 97 and the pellet port rusted in 2 weeks!! It needs to be out of the bag, in a cupboard or somewhere the air can circulate. NEVER leave it in the bag.....
  8. Den, I only use 2 mil dots out to 60 yrd! 1 at 50. You won't need more than 2-3 mil dots on a 0.177 unless you are going 70- yrd shots mate
  9. Don't leave her in the bag either.....did that, bad idea! keep her out in the air mate!!
  10. I got given a couple tins of pellets off the shop, the least they could do after spending the best part of grand, one of them is the daystate heavies and the other H&N Baracuda which are nearly 11 grain, looking forward to trying them Den I have a few tins of heavies, Weihrauch Magnum (10.4gr), H&N Baracuda match (10.65gr) and Crossman premier (10.5gr) if you want a few of each to test out?

  18. Hey, a thought, according the the governments pest act of 1954 - the UK is a rabbit CLEARANCE zone...... boosh, even the law says we have to shoot 'em all
  19. I have to say too, your profile pick shows what, 7-8 rabbits there, did you stop becuase you had enough or because you couldn't find anymore??? HONESTLY???? :tongue2:
  20. I agree 100%, but what I meant to provoke was just that, if I take 10 when there are 100, is that ok? If I take 160 when there are 1600 is that ok? We have to put these things into context AND as said, it depends on the job we are trying to do for our Perm owners.
  21. Barry I don't have one, but get down to Steve Smiths and see if any of the lads down there have one or can help you....
