  1. A ladder trap will take a large amount of rooks, jackdaws and non breeding carrion crows. If your specifically after paired up carrion crows, forget the ladder trap. Most of the time you can forget the larsen as well.
  2. I think you lot are missing the big picture. If milli gets in, he will f**k this country so hard, isis may not want it any more. Sure, he would have to turn it into the shithole of all shitholes, but i rekon he has got what it takes. He is a kunt though...
  3. As i understand it, prototypes should be available within weeks. As for production, i suppose that all depends on if the prototypes need any alterations done and everyone is happy with them. The trouble is, you cannot send a prototype to everyone who may be a potential customer, it will have to "do the rounds" everyone involved agree, then get the go ahead. I would hope to see them in production over the summer.
  4. Every now and again, when my traps are really crapped up, i will give them a good pressure washing. It helps to keep them in good working order and free of grit etc and goes some way to prevent corrosion. But there is no way i would be putting any oil/lubricant on them.
  5. I used killgerm for my wasp stuff, always spent over a 100 quid at a time with various bits, they always charged a lot for postage, which is why i now use a different company.
  6. Killgerm sell genuine Talpex that they buy in off Ratbait. So they are adding their bit on top no doubt... Plus £50 to post them. Killgerms postage costs are just out and out extortion.
  7. They aint the real deal from killgerm though, are they? I thought ratbait was the sole distributor for taplex in the UK.....??? Anyone?
  8. Got em already I dont have massive writing all over my van for moles though, as I like my van and dont want it trashed by some dimwit anti. Just a small sticker on the back on the door.
  9. I get through approx 1000 a year one way or another. Loads of people just knock on the van window, "got a card mate". Probably one of the best bits of advertising you can do.
  10. Just had 5000 vistaprint cards delivered. This time i had the spot gloss effect put on them, i have to say they are very impressive.
  11. I have every confidence that flatpack will produce a good workable trap that everyone will be happy with. Like Matt has said, anyone with an interest in owning a superior half barrel trap should register thier interest in this project. A simple email to flatpack letting them know that folk want this done and dusted would be good. You know it makes sense
  12. I still got my eye on that ford velociraptor
  13. Its all looking very technical to me Holes drilled here and there, bits of wire strapped on. You could name it "The strap on". Will it work any better? Time will tell...
  14. A few years ago, i had a customer who was going to use alph chloralose on his moles. Apparently he got it whilst on holiday in france!
  15. Is that the one where the retards launch a squirrel with a clay trap? No doubt they got great pleasure from that. Squirrel ends up dying of starvation due to having broken legs or worse. Like i said, retards.
  16. For the purposes of flatpack going forward with a rethink, wouldnt it be a good idea to merge this thread with the other one?
  17. Very interesting OTC The flatpack side by side with the original photo caught my eye. Matt, what i was saying the other day about the difference in the gap between the springs, that photo really tells the story. The gap on the original is far wider, now i am not saying for definate, but i would take an educated guess that the tension on the spring when fired is much more than on the flat pack one. The trapman one and the Tinsley are more in keeping in this respect.
  18. I was gonna, but i thought i had pushed things too far tonight. I didnt want a rambo style attack, as you would have no doubt, broke a nail or two If this project comes off, i can see a bright future for flat pack AND i can see other mole catching interests taking a positive leap of faith towards the flat pack trap & company.
  19. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/338404-finding-a-main-mole-run/ About 6 mole catching topics below this one
  20. What? Anyway, the talpex is easy to set, once you get the hang of it. To be honest, ive got such a bloody mixture of traps here, probably around 300 talpex types in total. Someone ran off with what duffus styles traps i had All the ones with the handles on, i am going to chop the fecking things off, as they stack together easier without them... More traps per bucket!
  21. Ok, back on the laptop. The ipad is NOT the tool for this For the benefit of flat pack, ive taken a few close up pics for them to look at, please excuse the darkness of the photos, but the light was failing when i took them. If they want better/clearer photos i can take some more in decent daylight. Proper detailed drawing with dimensions to follow, (Matt, will get this done over the weekend, no point doing it with beer goggles on ) I will add my comments in on the tech drawing.
  22. The original is 60mm from outside edge to outside edge. I know where flat pack are measuring from now. Itsnot where we are measuring from. Ive taken some close up shots, will try and post them in a bit.
  23. Not quite sure what to make of this, is it good, bad or a bit of both? https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/flow-hive-honey-on-tap-directly-from-your-beehive
