What If you told them it was a black car you had? What if your black car was stolen by a black man ?Well, if he leaned out of the window and called me white trash, I would feel most offended. I would phone 999 and report a racial abuse offence against me. I would end the call, phone 101 And report a car theft.

I was having a discussion with a mate yesterday about the bombings, his brother was there who is a serving police officer. Anyway, the discussion turned to problems in this country with terrorists etc and how people feel about Muslims in general. It was pointed out by this copper that "racial crimes" are deemed one of the highest priorities by the police, it far outranks other crimes like car theft or other thefts and any reported racial crime is looked at, at the highest level. This is a directive straight from the government. He also pointed out that racial crimes include verbal ab

Starting Out Full Time Moling Advice

One thing i have found handy this year is the paypal card reader. "No Cash" "no problem, just pop your card in here and you can pay me NOW." Hate f***ing sending bills out only for people to hang you about for your money. Had a cheque turn up begining of this week, that was a payment from last september for a poxy wasp nest. FFS -
Dont count on it this season....

Fair enough! You are obviously determined enough to give it a try. Advertising depends a lot on your area imo. Some get a lot of work through advertising in the local shop windows. That has never worked for me. I have also tried the card through the door, when you see someone with a mole issue, again that has never worked for me either. How much are you going to charge? How far are you going to travel? Farm work or domestic? Or both? These are things which you need to think about. -
Starting Out Full Time Moling Advice

Its the same old shite, just another day. Why would you expect advise for free from people who you might take work from, in an already incredibly overcrowded market? You say you have money troubles now. Starting out afresh moleing will not sort your problems. The thing is, for every new start up like yourself, some established molers suffer whilst a newbie comes on the scene at rock bottom prices. Crazy, ridiculous prices. Then they dissapear, never to be seen again and the cycle starts again. Wasps nests for £19.99 f**k that. -

Must be that time of year again... Redundancies. I blame the EU. -
The life like effect is to do with motion plus (on samsungs) might be called something different on other makes. To do away with the "sope opera" effect that in my opinion ruins films, goto menu/picture/motion plus and set it to off or low. Your picture will look normal again. 4k is superb with hd signals, but shows up standard definition for what it is, crap. Anyone considering getting a "big" screen, take a look a projection. I watch films on a 106" screen projected and you cant beat it for size and effect.

Number Thirty Since September
Mr Wasp replied to Eds Pestcontrol's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
Had this conversation last night. Squirrel numbers this year are sky high, have been all summer. Over the last couple of weeks, i have shot 15 out of one sycamore tree at the top of the garden. Probably the last easy food for them, but i was getting 2s and 3s at the same time. Might have to have a bit of a trapping session this winter. Got to trial the new squirrel lure from magnumtrap. Be interesting to see if it entices them into awkward areas. -
The feeling is mutual.

That is another nail in the coffin. I give trapping and snaring another ten years, then it's all finished.

Prototype Duffus Traps ?
Mr Wasp replied to earth-thrower's topic in Snaring, Trapping & Pest Control
I think your getting confused with plated metals. Stainless traps are not plated, it is stainless steel throughout. Although a lot of traps only have SS bodies, the wire loops, triggers and springs are still just galvanised. -

Actually what we had in mind were going to be all stainless as well. I am not bothered either way, I use talpex pretty much exclusively anyway. A trap will only last as long as the spring, once the power has gone, the trap is useless/in-humane IMO -

Havent heard a thing. In fact i sent Matt a text the other day asking if he had heard any news. No response. So he is either very busy or dead. Mind, considering the ficcle nature of folk, i suspect flat pack have read a few of the negative threads on here and thought feck it, why bother. -
The Magnum Trap Company Limited have over 20 main distributors... Would that include "ratbait", as well then ? lol (for talpex) The Magnum Trap Company Limited have over 20 main distributors... Would that include "ratbait", as well then ? lol (for talpex) Whos going to offer, the most competitive price for them, then ? lol Well.... it appears that magnumtrap are now the most competitive for talpex.

Website has not been updated yet, but will be over the next few days. I think there is some more "stuff" being added as well. I see Fourteenacre supply them! Is this something new, or were they always supplying them? I believe Fourteenacre sold talpa traps before, but now magnum have switched to talpex, the distributors of magnum will also have switched. I will try and speed things along on the website front.

You got to be careful what you do when it comes to bees. We no longer get involved with them at all. Last year i came across this mess that had been treated mid summer by a pest controller, was a very large colony and he never bothered to block up afterwards. I think there are quite a few pesters out there which are un informed, or just dont care.

Crikey, that is something. If you were to put a bit of black rubber around that spring..... Well, you could have all sorts of fun with female clients. Nuff said, i will get me coat. Just logged in to like Lloydys post about the medication
