You're right.. Soldier, fireman, etc, they all chose to do what they do so why should they get treated any different from a road sweeper or a toilet cleaner eh? This country used to be all about rewarding bravery, it was one of the things that put the great in Great Britian.. I always thought it was the jocks who put "great" into great britian?

I paid the local alchy / sponger / parasitic wast of oxygen €50.00 never to come near my place, ever again. He'd turned up here, looking to borrow a score. I managed to haggle him up to €50, on the proviso that, if he paid me back as he'd promised, he would ask again for at least two months. And, if he let me down? I never wanted to see him near here again. Worked a treat!
