If they are going to hold the balance of power they should be talking about the Uk not individual countries Why? When all the other politicians only speak for England. TC All the others speak for the Uk I didn't hear any of them keep mentioning England Maybe its time we had English Conservative party English Labour party

I'm originally from port glasgow mushroom where the Clyde was rife with ship builders, so My whole family lived through the thatcher era many of them worked in the yards and the damage she done because her pocket was lined by foreign builders, ill take the words of my family who lived through it all over anybody's But that was thatchers government the current tories are nothing like they were back then Just like labour are nothing like labour party from back then

The birth rate obviously plays a part But the saying white flight is there for a reason Just about every area that has a high influx of non white British has the same trend If it was all down to birth rate then every town and city would be the same

I suppose it depends on which ethnic group you ask as for 500 to 1,00 leaving per year is that confirmed or is it a normal type thing for towns of a similar size ? is it lack of work social mobility or ethnic based? It was a council census I think The white British population is in decline by at least 5000 per decade but the non white British is rising Something like 7 schools have over 75% where kids have English as a foreign language and 1 school is at 100%

I meet several lads through my business from Rochdale and Dewsbury and they slate the places I think its Rochdale that has something like 500 to 1000 white British leaving per year The lads from Rochdale talk about a border and any asians that move into white areas can end up with their windows smashed
