Just squirt a bit Autosol onto the leather,then apply an even covering over it with your finger. Always do an even number of strokes on both sides of the blade.Then just place the leather against the side of the knife following the original angle of the blade,then in one stroke push from handle end of blade to tip of blade. Then when said number of strokes are done re apply Autosol to leather and do the other side of blade. I usually start out with say 20 strokes each side then reduce to 15 then 10 then 5 strokes.Obviously the blunter the edge the longer it takes but just keep doing the same u

Yes mate thats the stuff, I will take a pic of the stirrer/leather item I make that I use with the Autosol to sharpen the blades.Once you see the pic you will know exactly what I mean and how it works, easier to show a pic than explain it tbh .

I used Indian oil stones for years from being an apprentice,then one day I tried a lads double sided DMT diamond stone and went and bought one the same day. Now I've also got different size DMT files for auger/router bits etc. For sharpening knives/ carving blades I just use Autosol on a strip of leather that's been glued to a paint stirrer (I will get a pic). It works brilliant and no chance of altering/ruining the factory edge already on the blade,I also strop all my chisels/auger bits/router bits etc the same way with leather and Autosol after sharpening to get a really good sharp edge on t

I bred my Greyhound bitch to a mates Deerhound dog,she had 8 pups last Monday with first and last born dead so now have 2 dogs and 4 bitches. I'm keeping 2 bitches and the rest are being gifted to mates who will graft them .

Any jury imo will see that cctv clip and see it as a pre planned attack. The attacker went in there to do what he did imo. Like I say a shame for the lad that lost his life .

Defo went in there upto no good, it does not even look like he bought a drink. Even though the other lad involved is in the knifemans face pushing him away etc he waits with the knife behind his back until he can attack the Josh lad. Thats a shame for the lad that lost his life .

Showing his age Gnash now and I think hes also gone back over under Banks. Roach would be a better coach for GGG but even then I think hes 37 now so not a long time left anyway tbh. Hearn has stated that GGG went into the fight with an illness but even so Derevyanchenko deserves a rematch imo .

Marketing strategy id say, he certainly does not need the money. Arum said all along he wants to make Fury a better known fighter in America and id say Fury also does need the extra exposure to the American public as his ticket sales are not the best at the moment.Joshua may have lost to Ruiz but hes still the biggest draw at Heavyweight, Showtime have just dropped Wilder and Arum has too much money invested in Fury to let him slip out of the public eye between fights ,

Shark mate I agree there is no need to rush Dubois so its probably a good thing all the title holders are tied up.I also think Dubois will stop Joyce but maybe a little later in the fight. Joyce is robotic and predictable but very strong and does take a good shot . Joyce would be the ideal step up for Dubois for the European title before Dubois looks to World honours and Joyce would be able to give Dubois his hardest test so far, defo a good fight that needs to happen but like I mentioned I dont think Joyce fancies it.

Its well documented about Gazza and his drinking problems at Rangers and Boro, great talent no doubt but just like Besty the drink has the better of him unfortunately .

The designer of the grill knew that Foreman always ate a burger before going in the ring to fight so had the brainwave to ask him to endorse the grill and the rest his History. Like you say most owners of the grill will only know him as his second coming as " big cuddly old George" and not how he first came on the scene as a nasty feroucious monster and part of the Black Power movement and destroying everything in his path to the World title .

Radford stopped my mate from Boldon in 5 rounds in a pro fight at Crowtree back in the day. Radford was very active in the bare knuckle scene after the pro game but I think he's retired now.

I can't see Benn making SMW now Ray,be interesting to see what weight he wants to fight at. He has been doing some exhibition type fights but just 1 pro fight and he would rake it in. We would all want to see him go once more but he had nothing left when he retired tbh so he needs to pick this opponent carefully as like you say nobody wants to see him get hurt. Eubanks has always pestered him for one more fight and that fight would sell very well despite there age now .

I cant remember his last fight with Collins being a bloodbath ? I'm sure he retired with his ankle and never fought pro again.

I didn't suggest anything,I started my post by saying " it's got to be better than fighting Dave Radford in a ring at a fair" Benn has been doing a few of these type of bouts last few years picking up a few quid along the way. Just 1 high profile pro fight would make him a lot of money but rumours are he has been refused a licence by the BBBOC but still intends to fight. No doubt he will try elsewhere for a licence and good luck to him.
