  2. Captain, do you know any fields like that here around roscommon/sligo? ...wish their was...would be great wouldnt it?
  3. Good tight bitch that bella was, that was some big field......
  4. She did surely LT, very well indeed to stick that long, she has settled in so well and follows me around everywhere, a very well manared sensible quiet bitch for a saluki, looking forward to next season with her. Brendy, ill keep you in mind, she has just come into heat now, but she is too young yet to breed in my opinion, ill wait a wee while, then will put her to a full saluki more than likely. As i like the breed a lot, with patients, they work well.
  5. That was some run LT....tutsy did well their, she was ahead most of the time and kept it in the field, she has some stamina, other dog did well to keep up as well, id say she would of dont it herself no bother, she is a very good full saluki for over here, thanks LT... If you have any more of her, would be great to see them..
  6. I have found in the passed here in ireland, that a lot of farmers with sheep are trigger happy when it comes to unkown dogs amongst their sheep, even if the dog was not interested in the sheep and was in the same field, they shoot it, unless its a dog they know well and know that it is harmless, even then they would complain to the owner to keep it in when sheep are around. I have had dogs shot on me years ago when out after hares, foxes and even rabbits, a lot of sheep farmers are ruthless over here when it comes to loose dogs near their sheep, i try and stay well clear of sheep when out wit
  7. Great runs their LT, great bitch she was by the looks of it. Any clips of Tutsy? She is settling in well...
  8. That is not a full bred wolf, its a hybrid, crossed with a wolf and dog, their is a big problem with them over their, the media, just blew it up.
  9. ..wee bitch i had few years ago, whippet x, 20'', she got the odd one that got up close, real good pot filler, unfortunately broke her wrist, had to put her down..

  13. I know of a few litters over here that are still being bred, they do seem to take to the greyhoud more, but some do have a head like the saluki without the feathering. They run very up and at them, some have the stamina to stick, some dont.
  14. yeah saliki246 be all phil old lines they look very like irish terrier cross alright ...your max looks very much like some of them captain.
  15. I use to use it myself years ago, but found out over the years, its lethal to dogs, could kill them. Their was a wash out back then as well, for dogs, called Alugan, great, worked very well, but they took it off the market, shame. Now a days i just use stronghold, its a spot on.
  16. Grand looking dogs their that Pk has captain, in good condition , have they got the old irish terrier breeding in them, how are them ones bred?
