    I know fallow, reds and even muntjak can cause problems for a dog, but I heard Roe are more of a low risk ?? Have never taken roe, as we done have them here, going by some descriptions and story's of dogs taken them, they do seem easier, but like i said, i have never taken them.

    Deer are a risk to dogs full stop....especially the regular taking of fallow. Dogs will be dragged threw wire fences ect I dont bother with them much these days as much as i use to do, they can really destroy a good dog, you could get lucky and take a good few with not much of a problem, but the day will come when your dog or dogs will come unstuck, not pleasant. Just my opinion and experience on the matter.
