    Yes, some packs are very good at controling fox hounds and beagles, however, the few that i been hunting with in the passed, were a little out of control. Some got lost ect. The man in the clip i put up, had them all under control in traffic, ect, that would have fox hounds dead. Just my opinon and experince on the matter.

    true , 1st you got yank them of there feet with firm no , once they realise they get hurt if they show to much interest in them, 2nd as above you got let the dog be oblivious to them, meaning there just boring things to them. But I will say this though even dogs of 5-6 years old that seen sheep from pups, have one day killed a sheep, god knows why but dogs have, even farm dogs have.!, but there just dogs not machines , and its natural for dogs to want to chase+kill sheep, never trust any dog 100% only 95% Good post. A line sometimes works to start with, like below..

    Yes, he did seem to exagerate a bit about the speed alright..lol Still their remarkable dogs and if it was not for the pure saluki coming over, the good hares dogs of today would not be as famouse, or as sucessfull i reckon..

    Good point Bosun. Over here, where i am, the firelds are small mainly and most things are not too far off when lamping. Over in the uk, a lot of fields are huge, compared to here and you need that extra reach to see the rabbit ect. I had the light force 170 and its great in bigger fields.
