Fair comment. However, i have seen with my own eyes, greyhound coursing men, releasing hares, where they originally did not come from. Now, this was a few years ago, it must of got more stricter now. ? One thing i dont like about a lot of greyhound coursing men, is their attitude towards lurcher lads, that even have permissiom to hunt on the land. Smashing up cars and vans ect, bullly boy tactics that does them no favours!! No need for it... Their was a incident lasy year. not far from me, where a man and his young son were ferreting with a lurcher, they had permission and were just after

Your strain seem to be coming on very well AG, fair play to you.

I am still looking to get a decent one in the future ( their as rare as hens teeth over here!). This lad i had below, was given to a mate here in carlow and is killing hares regular. He got very aggresive when i had a few lurchers last year and he wont even tolarate bitches, unless their in heat..so my mate has no other dog but him and his flying it. I get to see him run the odd time, big strong saluki that also takes foxes ect.

and at the end of the seaon realised back into the wildY.I.S Leeview Were you their when the hares were released back into the wild? NO it was too dark Y.I.S Leeview Well, they dont allways go back to the place where they were originaly captured from. By law, all hares that are captured for park coursing, have to go back to where they came from, most dont and i think you know that pal...!

Coming on real well their AG.... -
While i am on the subject, does anyone think bringing a pup on with an older experinced dog better then bringing one on its own?
-
I also agree with this, however, what happens when the other pup has to go and they get seperated? It usually leaves the one left more lonely. As they grew up together? I do agree though, 2 pups bring on each other well, of it can be managed.

Well not really cos i dont believe many of them would have anything worth having, that's sort of my point. Apart from those lucky few that do really have a lifestyle that allows them to keep 6 dogs fit and put enough in front of each dog for long enough to see the dogs true potential, and yea i spose i would be jealous of that lifestyle if i could still pay the bills. But apart from those lucky few, would it not make more sense to put all their efforts in to 1 or 2 dogs? I use to have 3 dogs and also founf getting the work for them hard. I think also putting the work into one dog and

Was about to say same, they can be given straight away but dont like to give food after a hard shift for at least an hour I agree, i wait till at least and hour as well for feeding, but give the electrolytes or clucose after running.

Sound Jimmy . So you still have the pup i had?
-
I though it was CW who bred the bitch i had, as i got star off him as a pup? Lilly must be a diferent bitch?

its looks like a Belgium hare ? I wish I could take pics like that..I find myself in a position to be able to get great actions shots..but the Iphone just doesn't seem to capture it...lol Its an irish hare mate.......they are released for muzzled greyhounds to run. According to folklore lol the white hare was an easy assignment for a lurcher and with the Irish Hare being a sub species of the White Hare does it also mean these were easy pickings for an average type of dog? Genuine question for those who have ran all three "brown, white & irish" ..ive not seen let alone ran an irish

Jimmy, is that the same bitch lilly in the pic i had that i sold to jack and then you got, i named her star, had her from a pup? She has got darker looking, looks well. wish i could get her back...
