  1. i cant believe this thread is still going, you got a pull, big deal, it happens, wipe your mouth an get on with it. keepers have a job to do, if they annoy you whilst doing there job, lamp some other land, hardly rocket science
  2. dogs a credit to you fella, can tell its been given top food an all the excersize it needs, keep it up an i hope you reap the rewards come the dark windy nights
  3. my ferreting partner bought a ferret box off him not so long ago, so he is still trading
  4. i see a lot of folk having problems controlling there dogs on and off the slip, sometimes it seems its easier just to live with it, i personally wouldnt start lamping with a dog that wasnt properly trained, if it never achieved the basics i had in mind then its never even going to get a shot at graft, its my way or the high way
  5. yours is private tomo, link took me there but said it was private, even after i sighned in to my own photobucket account
  6. you do NOT need written permission to hunt on land, as long as you have a verbal agreement with the landowner and are operating within the law. iv know a few land owners either take permission off folks or tell lies an say they had no right to be there after being woke up at an unreasonable hour to check out claims. so written permission is always good to have, but it aint needed............
  7. could have cut that straighter with a bread knife
  8. Fucks sake, what are you, 12 ?........
  9. diffrent strain, similar stamp tho, any good??
  10. most my lurchers have worked with an air rifle at the least an usually a shotgun and the air rifle, truth be told iv never really trained them to do nothing to do with shooting just your basic retreive that you would need for bunny work an the search command that i also use whilst ferreting to put any bunnys above ground below, or if i intend on using the lurchers to draw out a small forrestry blocks, i usually start a youngster picking up shot squizzers an pigeons whilst they young pups an have mastered the retreive, lurchers are clever dogs an most learn to read what there owner wants if you
  11. youll make aq pigs ear of that litter, you watch...
  12. where abouts in north yorkshire are you aaron?? im up that way a fair bit an have mates in that area, if you aint too far im sure you could get a day out to get your ferrets going when sept comes
  13. iv had a few jackers on bunnys, but i also had a few good uns, having jackers is part and parcel of dogs if you get out an actually do a bit, unless you got piss poor standards or are on your 1st dog
  14. these pups are so laid back its funny, but as soon as they see him lift there leads they go haywire, they dont even get excited going for a walk with there owners, but at 8 month old they know who grafts them. they were bred to be allround small bunny dogs, marking an covering nets, bushing an any other jobs they can throw themselves into when ever the lurchers aint allowed on the land or pushing game out cover for the lurchers, time will tell but i know he has very high hopes for the whle litter, but these 2 bitches in particular, iv asked if he thinks its down to them gettin more time spent
