  4. well i headed out for another look last night and very luckily bagged these 2. i started off at my usual place with not much hope in seeing anything since it was frosty under foot and i had an extremely bright moon in the sky. the place where i have previously shot 4 foxes was uneventfull so i headed off up the hill to have a scan over the other side but no luck so just headed back down to the pickup where i spied 3 rabbits and thought "what the heck" i needed ferret food anyway so shot the 3 and decided to leave the guts on the side of the hill incase a fox fancied some dinner. So off i went

  9. i would think so FOXHUNTER but i really dont want to step on the keepers toes thats why i havnt ventured down to where has his pheasants, i was asked by the land owner to shoot the vermin although the land is keepered but after speaking to the keeper he doesnt shoot any foxs till they do damage and only wanted me shooting crows etc with a .22 where he has his pens which is also where the crows and other pests are. and as you know crows soon get wary and then need the hmr or a centrefire for knocking off crows . at this time of the year all the foxs will be heading down to the lower ground i
  10. i shot this big dog fox on monday night, it really was terribly frosty and i thought that there was no hope for me to see a fox but i did so that makes it 8 foxs in 3 trips. when i first arrived at the place i had a look over the wall and this fox made a quick exit so i just carried on away onto the hill. i never saw anything and after 20 minutes i said bugger it this is a waste of time so headed back to the van and i seen the fox had came back into the field but was off like a shot so i tried cutting it off as it looked like it was heading back onto the hill. i turned a corner and there he w

  15. thanks john, i have stuck a 50w bulb in my striker and have been using it for the past few weeks and the only real difference i have noticed is the shape of the spot beam , it looks more of an oval shape now due to the bulb being the horizontal fitament rather than the vertical one.how are you getting on rewiring it? i bought all the stuff i needed from towzatronics on ebay.

  18. nothing really to worry about my dog has bust 4 of his toe nails 3 at the back and 1 at the front, the 1 at the front was the only 1 that bothered him and he really didnt like walking on it for about 4/5 days, i just road walked him and bathed it in savlon. that method has worked for me.i left him as long as it took to completely grow back..
