I'm getting uncomfortable with the direction of the TV interviews..... "Why do you think the fire took hold so quickly ?" "We had a petition about the renovations" One chap has just said that he "prophesized a catastrophe like this" and another has claimed he was threatened by contractors during the building works ! And these interviews are being carried out in the shadow of a still burning building, where dead people are still inside ! Speculation, rumour and unproven allegations......I hope they rein it in, until we know what happened !

Absolutely horrific incident. I'd offer my thoughts and condolences to ALL those affected, and my commendations to the incredibly brave men and women of the London Fire Brigade, who are still inside a potentially unstable building.

Hardly a day goes by when I don't have at least one bacon sarnie. I've bought beer and pork chops, and had them checked out by a Muslim woman on the tills. I've got several dogs. I've got a Jewish friend and my wife insists on walking next to me ! I had no idea that I was being so consistently offensive - where will my crimes end ? Do I deserve to punished ? How can I possibly atone ? Maybe I need to readjust my ideas ? Hang on, it's just occurred to me - I don't give a flying f*** !

Just after the London stabbings, I was listening to LBC (as I often do).... Being interviewed was a former government security adviser, whose name I can't remember for the life of me - I remember his words though ! He said that he believes "the British public are not going to put up with this indefinitely" and that it's a matter of time before there is retaliation ! (I'll keep looking for the interview)

Tommy Robinson How Is He Viewed In Britain At The Moment

You probably should have Googled to jog your memory there pal, he hosted a parliamentary meeting which some members of Hezbollah and also Israeli represntives attended, like I said getting a dialogue going to try and bring about peace through diplomacy, and he said this the day before"Tomorrow it will be my pleasure and my honour to host an event in Parliament where our friends from Hezbollah will be speaking." which is standard inclusive language that you use when trying to foster a friendly diplomatic environment. He didn't express support for Hamas of Hezbollah or say he agreed with their -

I remember Corbyn meeting the IRA men at the House of Commons....and I remember the controversy it caused, at the time. I also remember him referring to "our friends in Hamas and Hezbollah". I don't need Google to jog my memory ! -
Not quite.I'm angry that she has derailed Brexit (maybe deliberately), in an effort to secure a mandate and majority that she already had. The election was totally unnecessary, unless your the type who puts their party loyalty and personal glory before the good of their country. What she's given us is the worst possible result at the worst possible time, and we don't have a strong government, of any kind ! Just for the record, my constituency returned a Tory, even though I didn't vote for him. When I say "I'll never vote for them", I should add the caveat that "if they f*** up Brexit (which

Thanks for clearing that up for us, Jon !

Moral of the story ? Don't let your mouth write cheques that the rest of you can't cash, and don't make idle threats.

Do you really think she can hang on for 2 years mate? I can't see what other choice they've got. A general election during negotiations, when the details start to be revealed - ammunition to Labour, surely ? Any hope of a deal they could claim as beneficial would be over the horizon. If she's got to go, then she's got to go before the week's out. You're quite right what you say, I would imagine if there is no internal challenge, then from the public point of view this situation will soon blow over & be overshadowed by Brexit talk news anyway.... I think that what they're hoping for

And it is, otherwise we will come under pressure to accept other conditions and we will remain a member in all but name ! BUT......that would mean enforcing a border, and Arlene and he pals will never put their hands up for that !

Boris has too much baggage, and isn't as universally popular as you might think. May shouldn't be allowed to resign - she should stay (although it all only be temporarily !) and try to clear up the mess SHE created. Having said that, it is a pathetic, unedifying spectacle to see a PM clinging to the wreckage, clutching at power at any cost. A general election during Brexit negotiations is unthinkable, but the Tories are too ruthless to allow a lame duck to lead another campaign, and risk losing power, so the process is looking something like......let her finish negotiations, claim

It's probably well established that I don't support either of the main parties. In fact my brand of politics will probably never produce a Prime Minister, but while the name calling, yah-boo and pointless post mortems continue unabated, is it just me that's angry ? Mrs May decided (eventually) to take a massive, unnecessary gamble and try to secure a majority and a mandate, both of which she already had. She then led a campaign that was a complete balls up, and, with spectacular incompetence, almost let the scruffy communist in through the back door. She has wasted a whole year since t

Already, I'm sick and tired of listening to politicians clutching at straws and trying to spin victory from defeat ! We're drifting into a historic period of history, essentially leaderless and with no firm direction. The governing party performs so poorly that it has to be propped up by a small fringe group from Northern Ireland, with Her Majesty's opposition can't even match that low standard ! No-one won, but I can't help thinking that we have all lost ! Lost an opportunity, lost direction and lost any hope of a beneficial Brexit. Labour are overjoyed to have come second, while

Let's REALLY put things in perspective, and not clutch at the straws of platitudes ! This is a total disaster ! We will have to enter Brexit negotiations with a lame duck leader (whoever that leader will be), and during the last wasted year, the EU negotiators have been laying their plans and sharpening their knives - we are a laughing stock ! A Tory propped up by the DUP, or a minority Labour administration - god help us !
