  3. Have a look at the coursing bred dogs with the Irish terrier blood in them mate, like what captain 2010 runs they are powerful runners
  4. Aye old John is a bit of a banner waving type, too bad he couldn't have spent some time with Jack Hargreaves or Phil Drabble before stepping out of the newsround studio
  5. I remember countryfile showing a feature on the evils of hare coursing, a while later they done one on ferrets and their traditional use as a rabbit controller ,you cannot have it both ways. Other than genuine fieldsport and country enthusiasts, does anyone really know or care what is happening out on the land ?

Alright Kevin, no mate don't run the fens we run the dogs on similar land to what you've got over in Ireland small to medium sized arable fields and some hill farms with small tight fields and lots of obstacles, the red dog is a grandson of irish lady and had a quite fast and very tight running style

  9. I remember Eric who owned Axel telling me there was no club, but it was a good way to make a storyline to produce the lurchermania vids, the shed with the badge on was just an allotment shed, good enjoyable films anyway

  12. She was bred by cookland as far as we know, stands around the 29 inch mark
  13. He is saluki lurcher, not sure about bloodline, but he is a very experienced and clever dog in every aspect including working with ferrets
  14. I recognise 4 of them dogs and know the they mean the absolute world to the lad that owns them, he puts all his time and effort into them and he be out most night and day during season... He's the keenest lad I've met in the 22 years of owning running dogs, character and a half and always raring to go sure he's got saluki blood coursing through his veins

  19. This is the litter my bitch is from, the lad who bred them did say he was keeping 2 pups back they are 17 months old now their dam is a black and white bitch bred down from toby
  20. hes a nice type any footage of him about Not that I know of , I hear he is a fast type, he certainly produces strong pups my young bitch is as strong as a pitbull

Cheers NEC that picture was taken when she was 11 months old, she's 17 month now and laid up with a split pad on her back paw, quite fast on the run up, and very tight and agile when to the back of them, like the look of your young dog all the best with him, he'll be a nice age for the start of next season
