  6. The wood in the stock was fantastic, oiled it occasionally and that was it. Can't comment on the MK2, but you won't go wrong with a MK1. Al thats the same as i do with mine, as the stock has seen a lot of use the seal on the wood that it came with had faded so i just go over it with a cloth dabbed in sainsbury`s finest mazola olive oil... ive used the mk2 and to be honest cant really see much difference as they both seem to hit bang on... heres a link to a write up to each rifle... but the link for the mk1 is the later model. but if you go on the http://www.airgunbbs.com/forums/ w
  7. i have an early mk1 and its never let me down. accurate as you like... and you can pick them up for a lot less than the mk2. end of the day theobens are an all rounder be it a mk1 or mk2. i would never sell my mk1. richie

  10. its just for banging down bunnies at 50ish yards...... ive got a light force for my rifle but the idea of a roof mounted remote controlled lamp seemed appealing. just didnt want to fork out 70 sheets if people thought it was about as usefull as an ashtray on a motorbike..... richie

  18. i found the problems with promethius pellets were that they were too light to be accurate over long distances plus as there lighter than your average pellet it knocked my rifle over the 12ftlb mark. personally i get on with bisley LRG ... long range gold.... like asked before, what rifle you using ?
