  1. i was using the MR-14EX ring light... it works well & i can switch over to either side or use both.. the only down side to it is that with the lens im using i can get down to a minimum distance of a few mm, when im taking a shot of something wide the light rind has a habit of knocking it.. other than that its bang on..

  5. yep, thought id treat myself.. this picture isnt cropped in either, exactly how it came out in the shot, it was taken in x3, it goes up to x5.. that is a sewing needle, one of the thinnest you can get.. looking forward to getting some close up of bugs..

Ive clicked on the link and had a look,my stick is a lot older than that,the only reason i excepted the price is because the woodwork is in very poor condition,the stick is split in places,but the firing mechinism is in good order.One of the other reasons ive excepted the offer is because i dont fancy doing porridge for having a concealed firearm!.If my deal falls through ive had a couple of pm's from lads on here that are interested in a private deal.   13. i wouldnt of touched them units with a barge poll !, did you notice the amount of units that were sent back for repair & the amount of time people had to wait for them to be repaired ?

I took a few apart to try adjusting, if you look at the photo, I tried sanding down the trigger at the front, its very hit and miss, and loosing only a fraction of a millimeter and they wont set, out of three adjusted, only one would work, Ive screwed this one onto the trap wood in the middle of the four normal ones, re baited and tucked under shed, were see in the morning steve, when i pull the bar back i push the block forward which is attached to the plate, makes it more sensitive...
  15. i noticed the same when i was trapping mice in my back yard, i put it down to the other mice cleaning the bait out whilst the trap had gone off.. towards the end of the trapping the bait was left in the traps..

  20. just got back from the job, the customers happy... i advised her to take the " repellers " back to where she got them from..

  22. done a job today & the owner had been using mole repellers to try a deter the moles as she wanted to give them a chance to move on, & controling them was a last resort.. well you can see by the pictures it didn't work.. she has had them in her garden for that last 12 months.. there were 50+ newish hills & 50+ hill that have been flattened over time.. has anyone found any repellers that work ? or just a gimic..
