    When will the authorities finally wake up to this threat ?. ..when open warfare breaks out on the streets ? ...when ordinary people are forced to defend themselves ..This is Blairs & new labours legacy ...their is going to be a war in this country unless the people in charge get of there arses & take control of this threat ...stop worrying about upsetting the few & get a grip on these religious zealots ...

    Me too. I mostly hunt with a shotgun or a .17 HMR rifle. But use a .22 pistol sometimes. 6.5 , .22lr , shotgun ..... ........PISTOL.....we can only dream mate ..!!!!.. I know, too bad about that. Things were getting pretty bad here in that regard, but the tide has turned the other way over the last several years. I just inherited a .44 magnum Ruger Redhawk. Going to fire a few rounds this weekend and will pop off a few in your honor. Excellent ...top man !...I had to give mine up when the ban came in ..

    First day of the doe season I was planning on an afternoon outing to a local farm o see what was about , so loading the quad , kit & dog I set of at about 3 pm , bright & sunny with a slight sw breeze I was up in the seat by 3.30 in case the deer appeared earlier than normal ..I have never taken the dog over to this place because its not a normal open seat were I can watch her all the time but as she's been so calm on her previous outings I thought I'd give it a go ..on a lead , she sat watching for 10 min's after which through the cracks in the floor I could see her lay down..I watc

    Shoot a t3 lite , s/s synthetic , with the atec mod with a Swarovski 2.5 x 10 x 56 ir ,I know its biased but have been pleased with its performance over the last year ...shot a Sako before that for several years which was absolutely on the money but with age creeping up I opted for something lighter to carry around ..enjoy what ever you get ...

    Having shot roe with the triple two in Scotland it is bloody difficult to see the problem with it down here ..especially as muntjac & CWD can be shot with .22 cf ...not much joined up thinking is there ....

    Swarovski ..now that's my choice .I use a 2.5 - 10 x 56 ir ...Have to say it does all I require of a scope , mainly used for deer . I need a scope for low light conditions & this fits the bill , talking of which they ain't cheap but they are worth the money with an after sales service which needs to been seen to believed

    No mate , cut of the one antler for the stick boys or may keep it to see if it fits with a few others here for a chandelier .I made a couple earlier this year & several people have asked for one .so I might hang on to a few & see what I can make of them ..

    My thoughts on modern rifles are they are very much the same , they are all engineered to a standard , remy , tika , sako, browning etc , & unless your going for a custom job , something like a callum ferguson or similar they will all perform to that good standard ..What I find is more important is the glass you put on the top ..

    Hello mate , my thoughts were a malform as a result of the injury . The eye was completely shut & almost healed over , I wouldn't be surprised if that was from the last rut , the fresh wound just below the pedicle was a puncture type that was scabbed over ,most likely from this years rut ...he certainly seemed to go head first into every thing ..

    No great story about to nights buck other than it needed going , up in the seat fairly late after a hectic day doing nothing but chase my arse of I got home at half three , loaded the quad , gear & dog & over to the farm ,not actually getting in the seat till 4.30 .Bumping a couple of doe's & fawns on route it was as nice an evening weather wise as you could wish for .This buck came into the field at the top by the road & made his way diagonally down towards me .Still out a couple of hundred yds a quick rattle of the antlers got his attention & he came on in ..My initial t
