I can't agree on Top Gear ( although the Hamster is lovely ! ) or the Beatles - as I like Pink Floyd and Masterchef... I am proud to be British when I see the NHS. Now a lot will say I am biased, but I'm not - it isn't perfect - it tries hard, and is failed by the managers and the politicians - but nowhere else has the same sort of health care service we do. And a comedy sketch I saw a while ago - a couple having a shag on a train - no one says a word. The bloke lights a cigarette afterwards - and someone says " er, excuse me, but I think you will find this is the non smoking section"

pffft - you're just sore that you found a pink sticker on your gate ( to be fair, I got a blue sticker - which means " give the poor cow a decent dog, cos hers are shite ! " lol ! )

How sad People fall through the net/system - and it is often the ones who just quietly accept their lot in life, or don't know how to deal with the system, that get the bad deal. I visited an old guy a few months ago - nasty chest infection - and while I was there I could see he was really struggling. We talked about options, family, cares etc and his situation was just terrible. I noticed a book on spitfires on his table, and we got chatting about that - and turns out he was WW2 pilot. His wife had died, his son was estranged and he was too proud to ask for help, because he was emba

Horrific. Talk about life being fragile We were on high alert at work all morning, as police thought there would be retaliations afterwards.

The decent, proper dog people do..... Yeah they do but more and more people are getting into the sport thing which don't get me wrong is a good thing its just the less experienced/knowledgeable are the one's that in my opinion are making they mistakes which is understandable and a would guess is the same it a whole range of different sports so its forgivable and at the end of the day its not making any difference to anyone but their lives so we should just leave it their. Actually - I don't need to justify myself to you. There are people on here, whose opinion I value very highly - like Bu -

Crap people buy crap dogs and expect them to be champions - fact any breed of lurcher or lurcher cross can be fantastic - on the right quarry and right ground, with correct training - fact People assume they know what they are doing with no experience and no training, and a ferkin stupid attitude - epic fail ! -
lol ! good for her !

Nah, the real ones are still there - just not on the internet like ferkin celebrity wannabe's you got to be quiet about it ,stealth mode and under the radar like the tumbler fella ,burrell Exactly. I don't hide what I do - I keep within the law, I certainly don't feel the need to photo and film every thing that happens, and put it on you-twit-face or whatever it's called. The thread on the terrier section shows how that can be a disaster ( I don't condone it, it was horrific, and not true hunting by any standard) My dogs do what they do, and fill the freezer. I don't feel the need to sho -

attitude and training plays a huge part in it - a fab bred dog in novice hands, over faced too young, will never make the potential it could have had in decent hands. -
Nice to hear - my sister is around there, I'll ask her to keep eyes open for you - as will I.

Have a look at some of the threads on here - you'll soon find out the over rated rubbish As far as the under rated stuff - they are worked, enjoyed and not hyped out of all existence - and the genes passed to friends and people who will appreciate them for that they are. -
Having seen a pic of Taz - he looks like one of those " takes his time" type - like my lad did !

It depended on the dog - some are more mature and ready than others. Mine have ranged from just over a year to nearly 3 years. I don't take them lamping as early as some - I like them to have puppy time, and learn stuff first.

Is it the same one as was on BBC 3 a year or so ago ? ( maybe more ? ) if so, some of them are on youtube if you google the title.

Not self employed, but gives an idea - I get 35 ppm for the first 15 miles in any one working shift, 45 ppm after that
