  1. It doesn't matter what birds your breeding you need a cock bird with your hens. I must have been pissed when I wrote that, I thought he wanted to breed them.

  3. Thats exactly what I was going to say, it would all depend on what chickens you were keeping, as some bantams are not much bigger than quails.
  4. Plenty to keep you going rolfe. Is that you first or last name ? My last name is rolfe and i know that this spelling is quite unusual. Marky r, rabbit meat is full of protein but not much in the way of carbs. Have read stories from years ago from people dying from malnutrition during the gold rush whilst eating mainly rabbit. Apparently outposts of the Hudson Bay Company had cages full of breeding rabbits and the men were eating bellyfulls of rabbit and they still starved to death.
  5. Your right there maltenby, I had a landlord like that once, till he did it once too often and I put him on his arse.
  6. Adam your wrong I'm afraid mate, you have listed the bull and the whippet, but you have failed to put them into your mathematical equation, so by not putting them in you have got the numbers wrong. The pups will be 5/32 Collie derived and 1/32 Bull 1/32 Whippet 25/32 Greyhound Or 15.5% Collie 84.5% Greyhound (non collie) Slightly more than 1/8 collie but less than 1/4
  7. Where is that? Just gutted or skinned aswell? I can't shift them.
  8. I was told about a Farrier who cooled some horseshoes out in a bucket of water and then got them out with his hand, he had a cut on his hand and a rat must have pissed in the bucket and he got weils disease and it killed him.

  14. Yes mate I did this, sit and stay were quite easy to master, but I struggled with training my ferret to retrieve, but I found if you turned it into a game and kept the ferrets interest, she came on in leaps and bounds.
  15. I've a great big pan that I can get 18 rabbits in, I set it off in the morning on the rayburn then take it off at tea time, then when cool I pick the meat off and freeze it, then you can use it for allsorts, plus it takes up less room in the freezer.
  16. You've got a decent Mother-in-law TOMO, Mine Fecking hates me.
