    In the years I've bred ferrets I have only ever had either Polecat Sandy or Albino coloured young ones, All I was wondering was how the other colourations come about? like Silver and Black Eyed White? Just interested thats all.

    A mate of mine used to fatten a lot of poultry, two old women who lived in his village asked him to prepare a duck for them, it was the wrong time of year and by the time he had got done (it took him hours) the duck looked an absolute f*cking mess, He took it round to these old women and said he didnt want anything for it because of the state it was in, He was crazed when the said he shouldn't have bothered because the always skinned it anyway.

    The bracket things I made were made from the metal banding you find on the end of scaffolding boards.

    For holding Body Grips i have been using these lately, Ive found them very versatile, with a couple of holes in you can nail them to a tree, or a running pole across a stream, or make a hook out of fencing wire and push it into soft ground , or nail it on top of a wooden peg and hammer that in the ground, the list goes on.

    so if i fed them the night before they would work the same would'nt they be bloated n slow Its a load of old fashioned bollocks starving them before taking them out. I'm not surprised they are big killing ferrets and are agressive towards your hands.

    I had a go today by putting some swivels on some shop bought snares I already had. If anyone can see anything wrong with what I'm doing let me know.

    I have seen that Americans use Annealed Nuts a lot of the time in snare making, and was wondering about your views on using them as against the Alloy End Stops that are used commercially? Holding power and such like. Thanks
