I was snaring a field at spring time, I had spoken to the landowner about the rabbits while setting around 75 hoop snares, when I went back the next day someone had been round and sprayed the field, a lot of the snares were in tram lines, they were all flattened, and all the rest were sprayed with noxious chemicals. One of the ones in tram lines.

  7. So unless you believe that all Weasles should be killed in the interest of game preseravtion (even if we dont all run grouse moors) You should keep your opinions to yourself. I quite like seeing them, even if that means me being a plank or being accused of knowing feck all about the well being of the British countryside.

'SO FECKING WHAT'....... try running a grouse moor when EVERY chick counts!! 100% mate, Vermin is vermin and needs controlling. I don't run a grouse moor, so consequently I don't give a F**k. Wey if you dont give a f**k, you shouldnt have made a post, and a missleading one at that! You told the lad that 'they do no harm', which is bollocks! sorry for ranting on lads.....

  12. Years ago when there was no such thing as nylon, trawl and other fishing nets were made from sisal, as these were used in the sea and were never dried out they were tarred with either pine (stockholm) tar or coal tar or soaked in a bark solution (barked)
