    This does my head in I have been fixing more holes than enough this last few years went to a place this year a good handy puppy earth that I have been digging for years and it was completely trench there was no fixing it a good hole gone due to a bunch of wankers!!!!!!

    The longer this stays out the wilder it will get the dog probably won't be any good to anyone if it isn't caught soon. If it can't be caught im sorry to say the best thing to do is get someone to shot it.

    I have been running a small pack for the last 12-13 seasons started with 2 and has slowly built them up to six .the feeling you get when young hounds take lead is something u can't describe it leaves u with a feeling of achievement and keep them at it mate the more they see the better they get and as for the terrier work get a friend to keep them because after chasing hounds for a couple of miles u will be glad to let someone else do the digging lol

    If one dog can't dig or bolt a fox then in my eyes he deserves to be given best all though have been out and had to drop another dog to locate a terrier after the collar had failed on the old nocker box system thank god for the bellman it doesn't happen now a days that's the only reason we ever used more than 1 if they cant do it on there own they aint worth keeping

    Seen and heard of a few good earth dogs ruined like this. It's hard enough to get good digging Dogs to take the chance on ruining them doing what a good hound or cross breed will do for you just my opinion

    do you not get problems with the terriers digging rabbits (me personally I wouldn't use an earth dog for bushing)but each to there own mate

    Its says novadry on them they have a different fabric round the bottom of the legs ripstop the wife got me them for Christmas so I don't actually know the name of them she got them in decathlon if that helps mate

    Had a border dog a few years back the first day I had him out he was bursting to go so I showed him game the stuff made contact with the dog the dog took of running half way across the field with his tail between his legs much to my friends amusement got him back on the lead let him see an experienced dog work the stuff and put him back in the box.(dog was 15 months ) took the dog out for a walk about a month later the dog put his nose to the ground took of and disappeared down an earth that I didn't no got him out 4 hours later working game.The dog never looked back and he was one of the best
