    He's been doing spot on pal. Still a learning game for him even at his age. Best advice I ever took on board was from experienced lads on here who advised to let the pup grow up in his own time. Got a fabulously rounded mut

    Spend time teaching it commands. Teach it right and wrong. Dont expect it to understand you straight away little but often is the way you'll get best results

    Just a few pics of my lad on this evenings walk. This past 6 months he's come on a real treat. Put a lot of time into his recall & general obedience/commands. He's now 15 months old - 21" TTs.

    What methods do you lads use to teach recall? My 15 month old beddy x whippet/Gh is spot on with his recall when no one else is in sight. If there's another dog to play with on the park/field im wasting my time

    What do you lads use to keep the rough coats in nice condition ... I've heard cod liver oil or alternatively natural yoghurt has been suggested too ... Happy Easter all L88

Your's looking splitting image of mine in his face (apart from mine is growing a full on beard at present) It's my first lurcher and I can honestly say this cross is an absolute joy to be around. Loyal, determined, full of character and always a barrel of laughs! Got to the point whereby I've having to talk myself out of getting another one alongside mine. L88

    Northernlite & Troter58 get a serious debate going about a fabulous dog (biased? -Yes) only for others to ruin yet another decent thread. I've a 12 month old beddy/whippet x GH who I'm delighted with how he's coming on. Deliberately letting him be a pup before pushing him too hard. Coming along nicely. 21" Tts.
