  1. Because they dont want to pay out or replace one at there own expense
  2. Wont be long now mate, the nettles are starting to curl over around here, couldnt happen any quicker
  3. I use smaller ammo in the garden as i find it more accurate but wont use anything else but 12mm lead now as anything it hits DIES no flaps just stone dead, had a pigeon last sunday with a head shot and the neck was being held on by a flap of skin But like you said if the bands arnt drawn far enough you might aswell throw the ammo at them, 8 inch is what i find best for me
  4. I dont know mate, i carnt see a 10mm ball bearing downing a rabbit with a shoulder shot, i shot a dove with 9.5mm steel only a mm or two from the heart and still didnt kill it outright, not shot a rabbit yet but wouldnt feel confident with 10mm steel, bigger ammo leaves more of a margin for error i think, smaller ammo should only be reserved for those with good skills, which doesnt include me lol
  5. A bunch of moaning people sat on a forum moaning about other people Dog walkers who either dont walk there dogs on leads, or have dogs they carnt handle
  6. Double theraband tapered from 25mm at the forks to 20mm at the pouch, and 12mm lead, or 14mm steel, nothing will get up when hit with that but the bands need to be stretched to a good length to get good power, just past your ear i would say is minimum

  12. Yes it's pretty dire only giving 2 weeks to return the faulty product! They were even blaming customers for breaking their catapults on purpose at first too. I was looking at one of there catties, was going to get one for my birthday but after hearing about all this im gonna leave them and look elswhere i think
  13. Shocking there only giving two weeks to return it, if theyve cause for concern with someones safety then its on there backs to make the customer happy, not all people who have bought them will be on the slingshot forum and other websites related to them so two weeks is nothing for them

  16. My harris is a b*****d with the glove, tries to foot it, but when i do finally get it on he just falls back with his wings out and lays on his back until i take it off lol
  17. Nice one mate, good luck, might give it a week or two and try again myself, the covers getting both me and the bird pissed off lol
  18. Practise mate, find a method that suites you and stick with it, most hunters shoot instinctive, so pulling back with both eyes open and releasing when it feels right
  19. Try Ayrshire taxidery on here for some braided jesses, best jesses ive ever tried they really are quality

  21. If it was me i wouldnt be taking his weight up i would just leave him at flying weight and keep flying him and hope he snaps out of it, mine did it for a couple of days when the next door neighbours were out but i just left him and now he doesnt do it, its probably because he has just came out of moult and isnt happy with being brought back down to weight and geting used to feeling hungry again, good luck
