  1. I've ordered some video glasses so when they come I will be putting an entry up. So if anybody else wants to make a video get it up and we can try get this going again
  2. I'd change the bandset mate, way too heavy for nuts. If I was you I would get a more pocketable catty, they offer more banding options to experiment with. If you want to keep with the widow I would change the bandset. Could even put flat bands on it
  3. He was, I bought the book off him through here. I would have sent you mine for nothing mate but I loaned it out and never got it back
  4. lol to merry Xmas sherries Kyle ;-) Could be lol
  5. had 4 rabbits and a squirrel since I been off work for Xmas mate Quality mate
  6. Oops should have gone to the next page before replying lol
  7. The number is the thread size. So an m 8 takes an 8mm screw
  8. Nice one mate. Glad your finally getting somewhere with him. Its great when they just click. How many has he had now mate?
  9. 18mm multiplex Hunting bands Supersure pouch £18 posted
  10. No the larger ones are M 8 now and the smaller M6
  11. These will be good for the m 8 hexnuts, the others might be abit heavy but you never known I really was surprised how fast the singles shoot the nuts.
  12. The weakest bands are fine as long as you use more rubber. I think people get too bogged down with speed of the bands. Shot placement is more important. Just think years ago they didn't have all this super fast theraband and dankung tubes. It was inner tube or the old school squares. They still took more than there fair share of game
  13. Not really, just past my ear, as long as they are maxed out they will do the job at most draw lengths I imagine mate
  14. What I do mate is just stretch them until they are maxed out at my draw length and cut them at that
  15. Yes mate that would work. I started using singles when I saw a bloke on the slingshot forum smashing squirrels with singles and 9mm lead. They were just straight singles tied directly to the forks. I only put a loop on for easy attatchment so there is no chance of it slipping on the poly catapult. Doubt I will use anything else on this frame
  16. Blow right threw a pheasants head, smashes squirrels to bits too
  17. They are technically tapered but the loops are only small I doubt they make much difference. They are probably 5cm. For the hexnuts they definetly are mate
  18. If you ever do a hawk one let us know mate. Would be very interested
  19. Bagged this hen pheasant with my top shot and single 1745. Best tubes for m 8 hexnuts for sure
  20. Another rabbit today. Out with brad again. Rabbits were being really sly and hole hopping. Had one good flight but my female lost speed when she missed the first strike. Then i heard a rabbit trying to make it's way through cover. Let Freya off and as she got to the end of the bramble patch the rabbit bolted and she nailed it
  21. Not after trying them out today lol, the folded straights shot wank so im gonna cut them and make thinner doubles instead
  22. These are 27-22mm mate. I've gone to 40 straights now though because these are too slow in the cold
  23. Ye I'm leaning towards a German shorthair
