  1. Its harder to work with than what I thought it would be. My advice is to let it cool a little once you melt it or its just too pliable and won't keep shape. Also do it abit at a time don't try to do it in one melt, it won't happen lol
  2. That looks mint. Needs the top shot pinky hole though lol :-)
  3. Make sure no zips on your coat are abrading the rubber. Also never cut your bands from the side of the role. Always take the edge off each side of the length of theraband before cutting the bands.
  4. Ye its polymorph, harder to work with than I thought. I was worried about the strength but its solid. Will look a lot better tommorow when I sort the tips out. There 4cm now so gonna reduce them to 2.5cm. Once its sent off it will look stunning. Then I will add the finishing touches which is going to involve black spray paint and a pewter pheasant pin
  5. First day at it today, shabby as f**k but the basic shape and the canted forks are there. Moulded perfectly to my hand. Over to the files tommorow to clean it up. Then its getting sent away to be dolled up
  6. Hmmmm, try keep the blade as low as possible, and make sure that you put enough pressure on the blade. I've never had a problem and neithers anybody else who I've shown how to do it
  7. Keep the bands from stretching for a clean cut. Otherwise the blade just catches all way along
  8. Yep I've never used a rotary cutter. Use a snap off craft blade or Stanley knife. Mark the width of your bands with a pen. Put sellotape over that mark. With a metal ruler or other straight edge run down your mark. Better than any rotary cutter I think
  9. Good choice mate. I'd love a proper custom. Its not just the price though its the wait aswell
  10. For trickshots treefork is your man https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCjhRpyVyUG5jDKEinTtBD1g How to videos gamekeeper john and bill hays https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCAU8t1RCBuep9KVLb1MxtAg https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCtQzL13fnnt_1TZKuqMyuug Although bill also has some nice trickshots. Then for hunting videos I like this blokes https://m.youtube.com/user/TheOneproudmeximan
  11. Ye I heard this about a top shot before. I've seen a few by him and they've always been top notch
  12. Lol, all have different tastes. I honestly think he's the best maker out there. His catties have certainly improved my accuracy for the better
  13. Ye some are huge, seal sniper and regular hathcock. The top shots one of the smallest catties I've owned and the protos not much bigger. This scorpions gonna be a touch wider than the top shot but same length
  14. After shooting pocket predator catties for a while now and loving them I decided I wanted to try bills favourite design, the scorpion slingshot. The catty is much like his other designs but the handle is cut at an angle to achieve canted forks. This means than instead of your wrist being bent backwards like flat catties, the wrist is straight facing forwards with the forks being parallel to yourself. This reduces wrist strain and means he your wrist can't be affected by the recoil of the bands. However I'm not willing to pay £200 for one off bill as much as I like them. So in the next few days
  15. I've got a brand new chunky milbro with flat bands in the miscellaneous section mate. More powerful and pocketable than a black widow.
  16. Will do the other two for £25 posted as a pair
  17. Used to do it. Did OK but a lot better aiming
