    No not short stroked it mate just removed pre load and the v Mach kit spring had been trimmed to suite was doing a steady 11.5 when1st chronod it but will be 1st thing I do when all built back up there is no pre load or tension on the spring so nice and easy to re assemble They are built in a way I think is mainly for fac use but hopefully correctly set up and all the work that's been done should be sweet in sub 12 The piston should be back next week after kindly been glided by Chris (thursodog) God I'm looking forward to testing this out Tallied up total spend and managed to keep it j

    Well took a while to get the pitting out it didn't look too bad when I started but few hours later on the new bench grinder and wire disc soon sorted it I used some old blueing I had knocking about Phillips again and it took well to the metal not as deep as usual but 100% better than it was (is slightly Gray but will be ok for now see how it holds up ) built back up to show how she's looking and added some new glass a hawke map pro 4-16x50 I picked up this morning Also I flatted and polished the stock don't think il completely re finish it as this is going to get used for hunting I'm more

    Got started on the rusty metal work today I fitted the new barrel so was just the cylinder to sort Couple of hours elbow grease with the sandpaper then went to finish off on the machine polisher and it went pooof so heading out shortly for a new one will add more pics once it's done but coming along nicely

    Yea I hear what your saying pup I got now got saluki in and I couldn't be more happy with him can be little ignorant at times but he's keen as mustard love the look of saluki and my brothers whippet is brilliant so genes me wanting that cross

    have any of you owned or own this cross I'm thinking of getting a pup to go with my collie whippet saluki grayhound jack Wanted pure saluki but wanting a smaller dog so second option was a whippet so why not look for a cross If anyone seen any available please let me know I'm Wakefield area but willing to travel Thanks

    Well she is stripped back down and piston on its way to Chris ! Many thanks again top man I carnt stress the difference a trigger clean and polish makes its so light now Think I will re blue cylinder before putting back together to sort the metal work as barrel is nice deep blueing but rest not Looking forward to getting out with this

    Yea was doing 11 with the stubby barrel lol She still jumps a bit now but sure il get there in end Yes I have seen many trimmed and unseated springs in new hws not good at all just them cutting corners these days I'd say This one has v Mach spring and sleave but still jumpy

    Hi mate hope all is well that's a really nice offer thank you v much I think I will defiantly take you up on that Think will help it not been so thuddy the power is sat nicely around 11.5 so it's not down to too much power and all internals are silky smooth now

    Cheers Tom Yea happy to find them internals Well she's all built up spat 1st few shots but settled down nice now planted 3 pellets on top of each other in garden tonight not far probs 25yd but looks promising still find it slightly thuddy though if that's a word but will put more shots through her tomorw See how it goes

    Went today was ok Jack had a pup race didn't finish Then got set up on by a deerhound put his whole head in its mouth shit myself but he's ok Food and beer was nice that's about it
