    No didn't bother with the ultra carbine barrel lol The other barrel will be getting re crowned and screw cut soon Yea it's a nice rifle nice and balanced built like a tank

    Well had another hour on it before taking dog out got it stripped down was all very stuck so guessing not been apart for few years Looks like a previous owner has fit a v Mach kit result!! Was all absolutely blathered so this the result after a good clean Everything has cleaned up great just the cylinder wants a re blue when get chance Bought a new piston washer Oh and needs a new barrel pivot bolt as old was cross threaded and glued in! Now another good polish and re lube properly as was clogged full of thick nasty grease

    Well didn't get time last week to start on the gun but today I have removed the tiny barrel and fit the longer one and scoped it up going to put a few shots through her and see groups before delving bit deeper over next few days inc re crown the barrel but couple of pics so far Will be stripped for internals overhaul in next few days so more to follow Put a few shots through and is bit jumpy and crunchy when cock it and not shooting at its best so lots more to follow

    Yea I'm looking forward to getting mine stripped n fettled up too Nice strong feeling rifles mins a ultra carbine lol came with another barrel but that's also been chopped not as short so will be getting that screw cut and crowned

    I use a low ISO around 100 - 200 outdoors to reduce noise and preserve image quality Only bump up my ISO if light is bad I use the lowest f stop I can to get a faster image and nice bokeh It's hard with a kit Lense as they not really great quality I use a Nikon 300mm f4 for wildlife And a 35mm Nikon dx f1.8 for most other photography use both on lowest f stop unless after motion blur Your pics look ok just keep noise down and shoot on apiture priority until you get used to rest of your settings I'm still learning but they my findings so far lol
