  1. Personally if it was my bitch i'd rather pay a stud fee than agree to handing over the 'pick of litter'as i did this once, giving up my 1st choice only for the owner of the stud to sell on the pup within a few days On the other hand when someones used my dog on a bitch i've never charged as i wouldn't let them mate a bitch that i didn't want a pup from anyway..But also would never insist on pick of litter as hopefully the owner of the bitch was breeding for themselves not ££££
  2. couple of mine the dog on the left is gone now but his son on the right is still working well
  3. Duckwing,I agree with every word you said,I work in a similar environment to yourself and see the same sort of shit every day.Makes you sick to see little kids walking round with nappies hanging off them they're so full, and sleeping on bare matresses on the floor while mam and ? sit around watching sky all day while you try and put right what the lazy Bstards have wrecked.Yet the old fella next door who's worked hard under ground all his working life judging by the blue scars, tries to pay you for what he's entitled to...
  4. Top man i was about to say anything from kill bill especially the fight in the caravan in KB2 between the bride and elle driver..
  5. Apparently, tapping the no bombing sign when a family of muslims walked past was unacceptable
  6. Did you read the last comment Quote(As with regards to the so called fox attack on those babies, I think it is all crap. Something isn't right there, there is something the parents are hiding as foxes DO NOT behave like that and it has been PROVED.)Unquote F*****g nutters you can't reason with people like that
  7. Voted yes but have you read the comments, funny as f**k
  8. These 3 would do the trick You can keep your fancy sports cars 1 for the dogs 1 for the family and 1 spare just in case, not that they're ever going to break down
  9. so its ok to kill rabbits fox's but it comes to killing a vermin cat where evil bla bla bla fuk me like an anti site this. No need to kill anyones pet,If the owners allow them to leave their own property and onto yours Shitting everywhere, coming in the house and sleeping on the beds, winding up the dogs etc. Cage trap the f****r and hand it over to the Rspca who'll then have to pay to feed it,And the owners will have to fork out to get it back(IF they've been responsible enough to get it chipped and can be traced)No laws broken,No cruelty Just pissed off cat owners
  10. A tidy russell type bitch from the past that did a bit

  12. Choose your pic, right click on it and there's a resize pictures option(on windows xp)don't know if it's the same on others,That's what i've found the simplest way...
  13. the blue colour probably is a throw back from bull blood added into the mix many generations ago. after all its a common colour in staffies. The blue dog i knew of was a rough coated lakeland type so always assumed that it was a throwback to Bedlington genes but who knows?
  14. A sealyham/russell type that belonged to a mate way back that we dug a hell of a lot of gear with. His daughter which was a lot more sealyham type was mated to a dog belonging to CR (can't remember which one)but the owner got divorced when the pups were due to go and jacked in the dogs so i don't know where they ended up.I got a dog pup out of the mating and despite a promising start never made the grade,But given the opportunity i'd be more than happy to have one again.I've also had the pleasure of digging to an MR bred dog a few times and liked what i saw..
  15. Probably quite a bit more than that...As i said the post wasn't meant to be taken seriously,I was just surprised that black and chocolate where recognized colours for kc lakelands always assumed they only came in b&t.Personally i believe that all the coloured terriers have the same origins. If you look at old photos of lakeland/bedlington/border types there's not a lot of difference between them way back.I think they're the same dog thats evolved in different directions. Its still happening now. A Nuttall Patterdale looks nothing like a N Stevens Patterdale as a J Park Lakeland looks nothing
  16. (Coat colour Most Lakelands are variants of the Black and Tan saddle pattern, ranging from mostly Black to almost all Light Tan. Those with a mixture of Black and Tan on the back are referred to as Grizzle. The other main colour is Solid Red, which is also very variable, ranging from quite dark to very light - the lighter ones are referred to as Wheaten. Very occasionally Liver (Chocolate) and Tan ones are produced. Solid black was lost in Britain but continues to be line bred in Scandinavia, recently some have been reintroduced into the UK.) Something i copied from google Don't take this

  18. For those that say this fella deserved to be fined, the squirrel died of asphixiation If he'd put a post on here that he'd snared that squirrel and it also died of asphixiation then he'd have got nothing but praise...JMHO

  20. Thanks for the replies, otter had crossed my mind but as its a residential area(not in town but not rural either, what you'd call suburbia i suppose)at least a couple of miles from any major waterways i opted for a mink.Is what i've described typical of otters? I know the nearest good size river holds a healthy population,Just didn't know if they'd venture that far off the main rivers this time of year..
  21. Had a call today of someone who got up yesterday morning to find the nylon netting over their fish pond had been torn and quite a few fish taken.Their 1st thought was a heron so the pond was covered with a tarpaulin till the mesh could be replaced with something stronger. However when the cover was taken off this morning something had got underneath and killed the remaining fish and left some on the garden with just the heads eaten,I suppose the obvious culprit would be a mink so i'm going to set a cage trap tonight baited with 1 of the dead fish, but having no previous experience in trapping mi
