  1. Wrecking got cancelled to day, too windy, I'm sick. I was thinking last night how many times as a percentage does boat fishing get cancelled. As chartering a boat takes a bit of organisation and the weather can just balls it all up. We worked it out to be about 30% of our trips over the last two years to be cancelled
  2. You may have to have permission from your local council and for sure its got to be over a certain height. Razor wire is some serious shit so the need for regulation is needed. Phone you local council as a third party, make out its not for you, say its on a job your doing and that someone has asked you to fit it etc. They will soon tell you the do's and don'ts.
  3. The dog is the nuts how much did he charge for doing that.
  4. Having a dump then after you close the door of the karsey and then realise there is some more. Not a daily occurance but still annoying.
  5. Rubbish in the street or in fact disgarded rubbish any where. No need.
  6. The knitwear shop and the facials ok, but did I feck send you a PM
  7. I've used these when our fences were damaged. Some old fellow walked down a bank to have a piss and BANG poor old sod fell over in shock, oops. Anyway be vigilant, I've spent over half my life being so and it comes natural now. all the best Lee
  8. Regardless, ye'll probably now be innundated by teenage heroes I'll do it
  9. jesus christ i hate this crack anybody who runs there dogs at game before there atleast a year old are f****n wankers ur going to turn them to shite Know who your talking to before you speak because it makes you sound like a cock, I live in the nature and my dogs eat and breath cuntryside. Do you think I am running a six month old pup in the summer? I said my pup "can already catch fully grown rabbits". So what do you want me to do, not walk it or kick it when it comes back with a bunny? And feck me if my dogs aint interested in earning a living by the time they were tops ten months
  10. Good catch, I'm still to catch myself one of those. Do you know if it was tagged already?
  11. Michell Matches and what were the closed face ABU's called, good watch .
  12. I have a Whippet/Greyhound at not quite six months and it can already catch full grown rabbits. This bitch will be a rabbit hoover.
  13. You posted a pic of your pup aving a poo edited to say he is looking nice and how old is it, is it doing owt.
  14. I've had a set up for about a year now and haven't used it yet (how sad is that) but It has been put to use by two of my friends and it has produced on four out of four outings. Both of my friends rate them, I've also got some smart Perch and Pike jeck baits aswell made by Toothy Critter I think.
  15. we choose our dogs, not them us and as the old saying goes a good workman never blames his tools. All dogs at our home stay even if they don't make the grade and if they don't make the grade or they don't live in harmony they will be found a home of equal quality as it is our duty as owners/dog lovers to do so, not the responsabilty of a the state or any other so called animal wellfare body. People take responsabilty of the animals YOU choose to keep.
  16. Yes my friend, well done . As you have mentioned they are sadly becoming less and less .
  17. All our fish are hand graded and we stock within the recomended guide line set by some clever dude employed by the enviroment agency, which is 75lb-150lb of trout/acre depending on the depth of water and its quality. This is so that trout have enough natural food to maintain their condition, it's an animal welfare thing . I am also a man that conserves his energys for something more enjoyable but at this time of year mother nature doesn't allow me much free time, saying that its wrecking etc for me on Friday, 30 miles off the coast from Brighton .
  18. Yes I agree there should be bait only trout waters or any method waters, there used to be. There are some waters that as you say are so densley populated with trout that their compatition for food forces them to compete for fluff and steel. I must say in the fly fishers defence that fishing for trout with bait would make it too easy as they are raised eating twice a day every day and have no real instinctual fear of humans or any thing come to that(just look at the gerth on a resovior pike to show you how easy preditors find them to catch)so if you enjoy your time down by the lake side you don
  19. Alright Fella, do you have a B&Q near you. They do an own brand type of 2 stroke hedge cutter its about £100 and with a guarentee. I think its probably Chinese but they have nearly got it right, feck me they make enough of them.
  20. If there were only sweetcorn only waters you would get bods using someting like worms to get the upper hand, no it wouldn't work I'm sure they'ed get robbed and anyway they do have sweetcorn pools at some waters you must have seen them, there for children
  21. Yes I'll make you right, there is many a fly fisher that can't play a fish or many may well go under gunned but I am usually the first one that will bite my lip as they tell me about the one "that just bit me clean off" it winds me up as there is no need for it. I know fish are at the bottom of the food chain and don't really think much, but that fish swimming about with a hook in it is no good to anyone. But why I think your methods are shall we say contravershall, are that these so called commercial trout fisheries are set up for fly fishing and it is not difficult to catch fish using bait,
  22. how much easier it was not living in a supermarket society. and better for you.
