  1. This being the largest and the heaviest of the Spitz breeds, I thought it would have been a ridiculous cross. I mean if you wanted to go down the Spitz breed line I would of thought there would of been more suited dogs available like the Siberian Husky with its unbelievable stamina, good coat, feet and fairly light frame. But all said there seems to be a couple on here used to some success although the cross is being some what watered down. My parents once had a Elk Hound that was real naughty around other dogs and it wasn't entierly trust worthy around people. I saw this dog pick up and shak
  2. Feck, you've got a steady hand. Do you take beta blockers?
  3. I think it is and they didn't catch them did they?
  4. I have two Mastiff types around 100lb, two running dogs and a Spaniel X pup. I use about a sack of dry food a month which is £9, approx 60lb tripe/month which costs £24, 60lb hearts/month which costs £30 and the rest is free (rabbit, venison, pigeon, ex egg layers and butchers waste). So £63 per month and I always put a few quid in the charity pot at the butchers. I have started running me dogs again and before I did I still had 12 rabbits left from the previous season .
  5. I think this a lot, mainly because I find it hard to believe there are so many dick heads into hunting. Yep! All these things is what makes this place so special...........needs .
  6. Been going on for many many a year but more so recently with the influx of spare people in the cuntry. Only now have the gavers got the bollox to approach these sites because of resent Gypsy publicity and in many areas they still seem lawless. I think a lot more attention will be given to said sites in the near future and the illegal activities that go on there. I think it's a good thing, maybe then decent Gypsies will further distance them selves from the wrongens.
  7. Whats the other option ? put them on here and let you be judge and jury ?? I must admit fuckthebum, you do a good job on your mission but you are getting a bit boring. You should get a job in social services, that way you may stop future members/pedlers on here actually being born.
  8. What does you Pa think to this Windy? He's had dogs for a long time. all he said when i asked him was, i bet 95% of the peoples dogs on that hunting site you go on would be culled by proper lurcher lads as all them lot do is sit and argue behind internet screens, his words not mine He sounds about right.

  10. I don't think you can change it much as most of it is inherent, but I think it is very important.
  11. Could you give a make, model or a picture please. I'm looking for a bike rack.

    pit pup

That looks the spit of a dog I had back in the early 80's called "Dingo" he was out of a dog called "Buzz" anyone know him?
  13. The first picture with the stitches looks proper tight and was probably irritating the dog along with the healing process. The second picture (open wound) looks ok, nice and clean. As Skycat said licking is a good thing, keeps things clean, removes foreign bodies etc, something with my experience vets often miss and end up sewing something in! I've seen dogs heal on the out side and later this has caused an abscess, the body reacting to a foreign body (dirt, hair, etc). Open wounds generally take a little longer to heal but in my experience they heal more reliably and a lot of the time if a dog
  14. Work my dogs off slip when alone and can control them but in full flight no. Turning of the lamp works fairly well and I've never needed a breaking stick although some times I wished I had one "preban" (never written that before)
  15. And a Rottie is not Molosser type? I have Mastiffs and regard them as one of the most calm dogs I have owned, but if you need a true protection/guard dog who is going to be in control of it. I would say try and find some dogs and see if any of them suit your needs. Research is key to finding the right dog. Good luck.
  16. Every trap but three had been set off so they are in the right position, my success rate is about 1:2 so it really frustrated me. I will find some talpex type traps, I suppose it will be good to try something else. I have been using scissor traps for nine years and have never had so many failures. Do moles become aware of traps?
  17. Suck off Greek men called Phil. Your not one of them are you Lee? It could be that you know far more about it than your letting on. Are you the Queens hubby?

  19. Sorry to sound stupid but how would I find the "main run?"
