Cheers, iv got about 15 paddocks in different areas most have plenty rabbits, iv been asked to ferret a few of them but persuaded the owners to wait till later in the year so iv at least got to shoot a few to keep owners happy

Went out today with my mate again and got 3 bunnys, they were the only 3 we seen theres normally quite a few here

Just makes it seem more wierd as her last litter was all polecats and she was mated to the same hob

Its a first for me aswell mate, dont know about eye colour yet but both parents have black eyes, if one had been a jill i might have kept one but theyr all hobs, il let you know eyes when i see them mate.

Mated my 2 dark polecats last year and had 9 polecat kits, mated the same pair this year and she's had 3 white kits with no colouring at all, how common is this, i was hoping to keep back a dark kit for myself

Went out for a few hours this morning with my mate, i got 1 shot at a rabbit and dropped it, he got 2 with his falcon prairie both over 50mtrs and dropped them, only stayed a few hours cos of the rain, i called at a house where we seen rabbits in the garden and after a quick chat with the owner i got a new permission so well worth the trip out.

Went to a garden permission for a few hours tonight and got 3 rabbits shot 2 straight away and waited an hour, another came out and i got it then left, missed 2 squirrels running across the garden and through a hedge but hopefully get them next time

Went out this morning for a while, seen a few rabbits in the distance so made my way towards them, most ran off so i got sat behind a gate and waited about 10 mins, 2 came into range and i dropped them both, had another walk about and found some well run warrens to ferret later in the year

Cheers fred, no mate no idea but just to say on 2 places iv got that are running wick now with rabbits was bad with mixy 2 years ago but 6 months before that there was loads about

No mixy and plenty of rabbits on all the perms that iv been to so far ?over winter and up to now, hope it stays that way (yorkshire)

I never new that socks, iv always thought theyd kill them, now iv separated them il leave them as they are but if i breed them again il leave them all together, cheers.

Iv got three pregnant jills in the same cage, the kits are due to be born next week so i thought id leave them all together a few more days before putting them in their separate cages, i went to feed them today and all 3 adults were in the nest box and the polecat had 3 kits early, they were all cuddled up together, iv put the other 2 jills in their other cages now but how good is that. She still looked like there was a few more in her so il see tomorrow.
