The Lad is doing well , does he say what part of the country he is ?. A few year back we were doing the same , now a good night might be a dozen and most nights we only take a few, sadly the rabbits aren’t in the numbers they once were..
Two things I was warned against as a young lad were gambling and ouija board. My gran used to work in a old folks home and when one of the oldies died a white figure used to stand outside the door of the deceased (can’t remember what gran and the rest of the work force called her but she had a name) and when she was seen she would just vanish. Who ever saw her used to tell the rest of the team that who ever was in that room had died. That night whoever was on that shift would go on the ouija board to contact the deceased...... I was about 8 year old listening to my gran telling my mam in grans
they a smarter than you think, I used to sneak up to a barn and shoot the collard doves as the raced out , it got to the point where I couldn’t get near the barn. The farmer used to walk up and open the half door and they would lazily fly out onto the roof and wait till he went then they would go back in to feed on the stored grain.
You want to come up and nets some rabbits Fred ?, there’s still plenty about. It’ll have to be around the next dark week. I’m sure Smithie will allow us to tag along with him ??.
Was out this morning with the Catty looking for a few squirrels . Only saw 4 and they were on there toes. I did however come across this chap, confident bugger ?

I was asked by a farmer to check a field today, the place looks promising , for me it’s pest control and dropping a net now will prevent the place being eaten off in a months time with young rabbits .
