    She retrieves perfect most of the time but every so often she'll pick up what I've shot and shake the begeezes out if it and then retrieve it to me

    Was out at 5am this morning.. bitterly cold, had a squirrel and a wood pigeon but the alligator made sure that I couldn't take a respectful pic.

    You really can't beat thermal, my kill rate went through the roof when I had mine. I had to sell it as it were pulling on my eye , my eye ball felt it were gunna explode after a good walk out with it.The little dog tells me where most stuff is now and we don't do too bad as a team.

    Anyone shoot a pickle fork ? It suits my way of shooting ( instinctive).

    I shoot instinctive, I can't for the life of me shoot with a reference and anchor point. The one I'm shooting well with atm is a crown Derby with bombdrop tubes. I can hit at bottle top more times than not with 11mm steel at 9 yards (hung in the catch box). I think it's 70mm wide.

    That one was the 1st in the country.. I reviewed it for a magazine. Took a lovely Jay with it. They are same as any .. you need to practice to get any level of accuracy.

    I think it's a Hmh... definitely a hedgerow hunter. I've had a few , got one here in ply made by nick Hegarty. They are a very nice catty but I just couldn't dial em in..

    They no longer make the scout lt mate, they've done a upgraded version but it's a change again.. they do come up for sale in the catty groups every so often.
