  1. That one was the 1st in the country.. I reviewed it for a magazine. Took a lovely Jay with it. They are same as any .. you need to practice to get any level of accuracy.
  2. I think it's a Hmh... definitely a hedgerow hunter. I've had a few , got one here in ply made by nick Hegarty. They are a very nice catty but I just couldn't dial em in..

  4. They no longer make the scout lt mate, they've done a upgraded version but it's a change again.. they do come up for sale in the catty groups every so often.
  5. Kinda Fred, farmer opposite our house gave me permission .
  6. I always have the binoculars with me, I'm the old duffer with the shivering whippet who watchs birds
  7. The only one I shoot regular is the crown Derby.
  8. I've tried a few micro fibre pouches and the best zero stretch are from cattyshack.
  9. I prefer roo pouches, difficult to get good ones tho. I put roo on the tuffty bands and it's very powerful and accurate with 11mm steel, cheers pal
  10. No mate, I shoot a sling with a relaxed grip.. the tube broke on the fourth pheasant (missed it ) , the elastic hit me in the face followed by the sling !. Needless to say I've put a lanyard on it now.. lesson learnt

  13. 11mm steel with this set up mate, all head shots , yeah I prept the hens and the dog ate the cock bird carcass.

  15. Not shot a pheasant in a long time , the whippet pushes em out but has never had hold of one. She did quite well retrieving back to hand.
  16. 2mm my guess would be 14mm leads for that mate.
